What fun!
We had a great time in the treehouse! it was like being at summer camp with fishing and relaxing in the small pond and just chilling in the quiet countryside. We rode bikes to the caves and visited the nearby wat where we visited with the resident monk who was so excited to be able to communicate with us in (mostly) English. The power did go out in the village while we were there which limited some of our amenities, but we just ordered some margaritas and played card while the cats lounged along side us.

Wonderful location made perfect by the welcoming atmosphere.
Our treehouse visit will stay in the memories of our 4 and a half, and 6 and a half year old boys for a long time to come. We stayed for three nights in the Coconut Treehouse, easily filling every moment with fun things to do. We were picked up at Chiang Mai railway station by Khun Om, and treated to a stop-over at a delightful waterfall on our way to arriving at the resort. Pinn and Lucky were fantastic hosts, really taking care of our boys. Our boys loved the cats, dogs and chickens, and even fished in the creek with the nets that were provided. We walked to the caves, and around the lake, finding some ice cream and iced coffee in the village on our return. The rooms are made-up freshly everyday, making for a relaxing homely feel. The food is nicely prepared. Loved it. Loved our kind hosts.

Unique experience though overall disappointing
Whilst staying in one of the tree houses is a unique experience you do pay a high price for this privilege. The food which has to be pre ordered was again highly priced and unfortunately it was extremely poor. The soup totally lacking in any flavour and the rest of the meal and breakfast we found to be only a little better On our arrival we were warmly greeted only to find the others had been given our prepaid and reserved tree houses. This caused some embarrassment when they had to pack their belongings and move out. Others have talked about the cute animals but we found them a nuisance( I have pets) as they were continually trying to get into the tree houses and onto the bed and//or crying to be let in Would we stop again - No

very relaxing environment
it was very peaceful and the hosts were very friendly. Sadly, I went in the hottest season and the nearby waterfall was all dried up. would love to visit again in a cooler season and spend more days at the treehouse with myself. =)

relaxed, wanted time out - fulfilled the bill
If you want something a little bit different for a couple of nights, this fits the bill nicely. But be aware there is almost nothing to do but that's its attraction. Tree houses are very well appointed. . there are a few mini sights, and some nice walks. people are really nice.

The Perfect Getaway
Awesome serene experience. Traveled to Rabeang Pasak Tree House with a friend. We were picked up from the airport and taken to the village , arriving about 1700. We checked in and took a short walk to the sunset. After, the staff made the best dinner we had in Thailand! We were slightly concerned that the heat and mosquitoes were going to be a problem, but we slept like babies. We stayed in the the Vine House, which is more seclude, spacious, and cool overnight. The tree house provided us towels, shampoo and conditioner and bottled water. In the morning we went on a hike/bikeride to the bat cave and stalagmite caves. There is a nice stream and area to sunbathe if you are looking to relax. At 1300, the staff arranged for transportation back to Chiang Mai to a hotel we were staying at. I can't say enough wonderful things about the family here!

Nice break away from it all
good place to chill and do nothing really...ride the bikes they have to see the batcave...relaxing break from the city. Food at location was good too and staff and owners are lovely.
