On the surface this hotel looks 5 star but look closer and you see it's definitely not. The ultra modern fittings are starting to look a bit shabby in places (leather chairs marked, sink chipped) and the overall finish is not to the highest standards , painting looks like it's been done by a 5 year old who can't keep inside the lines! Despite this (and the fact that our shower constantly flooded the bathroom floor) it was just what we needed , great location to transport links and 30 mins walk to the old sites and a lovely rooftop pool to cool down in at the end of the day. We paid a bit extra to get a superior room rather than have the crazy shower behind the bed arrangement as mentioned in previous reviews. The room was spacious and bed was big and comfy.

Ok, liked the tub in center of room. Very nice set of toiletries. We were upgraded to suite, which was nice of course.
The surfaces are worn down here and there, but there were now painters etc so i guess they are trying to keep it up to standards.

We had a very pleasant stay. The staff was friendly and the room was comfortable even though not very big. Many international tv channels are available and the swimming pool on the roof is really great for a cooling swim in the roman summer heat. It is walking distance to major attractions such as colosseum/circus maximus/palantine hill or next to metro station so reaching any place is very easy.

Best hotel in Rome if you are after a modern space and good service from staff.
Location is great for access to Termini Station, the area is a bit more typical of the real experience of Rome yet as Rome is a walking city it is still within in reach of all attractions.
