This family-run hotel is conveniently located five minutes by foot to Wenceslas Square and only 15 minutes on foot from the Old Town and the historical buildings contained therein. Rooms are warmly and comfortably decorated and feature the high ceilings and big light-bearing windows indicative of these 19th century buildings. The whole property enjoys a welcoming ambience. Breakfast here is a cooked affair, service is warm and helpful, and rooms at the back of the hotel face a quiet little courtyard, and some even have balconies. The area is well served with restaurants and pubs, and the hotel staff will be very glad to suggest you the best ones in the area. excellent value

location, lovely, friendly staff and cleanliness of hotel
I emailed beforehand to double check that they had rec our booking. I was contacted back the same day by the Manageress. As we were staying for my daughter's 21st birthday we were offered a birthday package which consisted of sparkling wine and the most gorgeous cake(even had the option to purchase 4 different types of cake!). Check in was quick and efficient by Thomas and he explained about our room location , breakfast timings and if we should require anything just to ask. We did ask about a restaurant that we wanted to visit for my daughters birthday meal and thomas helped us with directions. He also recommended another restaurant at the bottom end of the street, which we did visit on another occasion. This to was excellent food and comes highly recommended. Our room was clean and spacious and the bathroom was spotless. Towels clean and fluffy. After the 1st night's sleep we asked Vaclav on reception if we could have some more pillows(our personal preference) and these were brought to our room within 4 minutes - how is that for service! The hotel also very kindly let us keep our case as we had a late flight back home, again on collection of our bag later that day Vaclav gave great service. An absolute gentleman, friendly and eager to assist. Breakfast was good plenty of variety for a continental buffet. Filter coffee to die for !!!!! Kitchen staff always friendly in the morning and the tables cleared immediatley and always popping out to check if anything needed topped up or the food replenished.

Amazingly beautiful and romantic city

Big room; large bathroom; unbeatable price
The hotel is near to the main street but it's not noisy. The location of the hotel is not good compared to other hotels that is at the old town centre. It is not close to any tourist attraction so you have to take a taxi or the subway all the time. Not many dining places nearby as well.

Not a 4 star quality

Noisy, poor breakfast
I spent only one night but will not be more. I could hear every word from the corridor, the walls and doors were very thin. Breakfast was poor and very minimalizid selection of food.

comfortable hotel

Buffet breakfast, location, friendly staff
One of the nicest places we stayed on our trip. Central location, spacious room, friendly/helpful staff. Big buffet breakfast with plenty of options was a great start to each day. Only (small) problem - the elevator stops inbetween each floor so you need to carry your luggage up and down a few stairs between the elevator and your room.

Good budget hotel.

Reasonable price, close to tram and metro, helpful staff
Mainly drawback is we need to climb stairs with luggage

Good location, friendly staff, decent stay

Near tram and Metro, helpful 24hr staff, good bathroom
Furnishing is a bit old but other than that everything is decent, recommend for everyone

Location good Breakfast nice food

Value of money
One of the front desk girl were very helpful and print the connection train time table for us. The other male front desk man wasn't too helpful after we reject to join the one day tour he recommended and ask ourself to look up the Internet in the hotel by ourself! But in general the hotel is worth for the money!

Good location

Location & Size
This hotel is easy to get to as its very close to the Povlova station. It's also walking distance to the Museum. The room is pretty decent in size and I managed to get a room with a balcony. Although it was at the back but it was still very cosy. The breakfast spread is also pretty decent.
