Great hotel!

Location, room and food
Our stay was very pleasant: we booked a privacy cottage, it was beautiful and peaceful. The garden and the swimming pools were great and the beach just amazing. It is a bit too bad that so many tourists are brought everyday with the sailboats to "our" beach but it is quiet at mornings and evenings. The food is really good. However the breakfast could be enhanced with real fruit juices instead of these kinds of too sweet syrups. Prices are quite high as well compared with the usual prices in Thailand restaurants. But we recommend this hotel and would love to be back there again!

Poor service

Location, the private room, the views
Beautiful location & amazing views. Unfortunatly the food was not very good, lacked flavour & the buffet breakfasts lacked variety. The service from staff was disapointing, they were slow & not very friendly or helpful.

Your best option

Location, like you own little house, beautiful location
Great, I loved it. I stayed at the Hotel next door, and it was just OK, I had lunch at the super expensive hotel on the other side, and It's nicer but 10 times the price. My advice, stay here and visit the hotel next door's beach.

Amazing Place

Location, Rooms, Views
We had such a great stay here. Best location right on the beach. The breakfast and other food was amazing. Great BBQ fish! The hotel goes from west to East beach. West is by far the place to stay. The rooms were big, clean and comfy. Grounds were very nice, pools are great especially the beach side one. We stayed here for 3 nights near the beginning of our trip in Thailand & enjoyed it so much we came back and stayed 2 extra nights before heading North. Any negative reviews are from people you do not want to have anything to do with like some of the extremely rude people everyone see's at times while travelling. I will be back!!

A little dated

Location, quiet and staff.
Stay was good but I would not rush back. Staff were helpful but breakfast was not up to standard. Some of the areas within the grounds of the hotel need to be tidied up and rubbish disposed of.

Great Location for a holiday

The location, the beach, the reception staff
Excellent, the reception staff were extremely helpful and when we had a problem with our bed they sorted it out straight away. The restaurant was a little poorly staffed. The waiting staff were not overly attentive and the quality and range of food wasn't what you'd expect given the surroundings. We found an amazing restaurant around the corner so are there most days.

Food, check out service and the pool
It was to much people there and it was quite old and worn down. Railay is maybe good for younger people that want to party. Railay beach was very dirty and a lot of rubbish everywhere. I will never stay there again.

Location, gardens, room
We stayed one night and wished it was more! The hotel is huge with a resort like feel. Great pool overlooking the sea. The hotel runs from the main beach to the other side of the island which was where our rooms were overlooking the sea, a mere 5 mins walk to the main reception/restaurant/breakfast etc. We booked 2 x deluxe rooms-myself/husband and two teenager sons. The rooms were superb, huge, large balcony and large bathroom. The only negative was the bed was extremely hard, like sleeping on a plank of wood. The aircon was terrific, cold and very quiet whilst sleeping. The breakfast buffet was SENSATIONAL - cannot fault any of it, absolutely delicious with a huge variety to chose from. I highly recommend this hotel and plan on visiting again in the not too distant future for a longer stay. p.s. we booked our return transfer to the airport through the hotel which was around AUD$10 cheaper than through a local operator. We had a hotel staff member with us at all times.....longboat to the pier in Aonang then a private mini bus transfer to the airport. Very professional and caring hotel.
