Perfect mix of eastern and western
great hotel. The staff were very polite and extremely helpful. Beautiful location but there isn't really a bad location at Railay Beach. It had a great mix of western and eastern influences for anyone who might not want to fully immerse themselves in eastern food and culture. I have stayed in some the the best hotels around the U.S. And this one is in the top 10 for me.

Awesome Value
Its on the east side of Railay, which isn't as nice, but everything there is super close, and it's really easy to get to Phra Nang beach. We LOVED this place.

I do not recommend this resort.
disgusting bathroom - looks like never cleaned from beginning (cleaning service only change towels and sheets). Dirty curtains. Water pressure and quality was really bad. Only good thing during our stay was breakfast. Overall 2/5

Great place to stay!
Loved Railay and the princess was wonderful as well. Room was wonderful, would definitely recommend. The rooftop pool was great! Definitely purchase your own drinks to bring to the pool or be prepared to wait more than an hour for one beer

Will definitely stay again
Everything was terrific from the friendly staff to the breakfast buffet to the location and facilities (2 gorgeous pools, gym, spa...). You might have to force yourself to leave!

Great hotel friendly staff
We had a great time at Railey princess. Everything is very well arranged. I can recommend that you get a pick up at the airport if you are with 4 travellers or so. 1200 baht and it's so fast! The staff is very friendly. Rooms are very pretty. The breakfast is pretty good too! The omelette lady makes great omelettes! The location is perfect too. Very central to everything. Make sure you pay a visit to Tay lew bar during the day for a beautiful view and some nice cocktails. If I had to say something negative the only thing I could think about is that the food to order isn't of great quality (but this is everywhere on railay) there wasn't any nice quality food available on Railay. Before you go to Railay make sure to bring drinks and stuff from the 7-11 everything is so much more expensive! (double the price and up). Railey is like an island and only available by boat.

OK
You should mention that you need to take a boat or "Longboat" ride to get there, appox 20 min. And that you have to park your car in their parking lot. In the afternoon it cost us an extra $800 baht to go 1 way to get to the Resort. Coming back at 11AM the boat ride was free

Great place
We were very happy with our stay at princess! It's been a great place. Pools were nice and the location is great for the ferry and to get anywhere you need to go in Railay

Comprehensive Review of Railay Princess Resort & S
QUIET I booked this place mainly because other reviews said it was quiet and did not have noise from the long tail boats, which can keep u up ALL night, even at the 5 and 4 star resorts and give u a sleep deprived stay which can severely diminish stays at this paradise. I was not disappointed in this regard. ROOMS: The rooms have good sunlight w large sliders along the length of the room, and sparsely furnished in a tasteful tropical theme. The lighting at night is indeed a challenge as others have noted as only 2 Ikea black flexible neck LED lights are provided for the entire bedding and desk area. Room has a decent sized fridge and space for your own groceries and good desk that you can actually sit at and get real work done. A room safe is also a plus. there are bathrobes and room slippers, but the latter are obviously and not so nicely reused until they are deemed unacceptable. Best rooms: any floor above the ground (or first floor). The best views and most quiet rooms are in the 3000 - 6000 blocks. I suggest the top (third floor). They all face west and give you silence at night and beautiful views of the limestone cliffs of Railay West. Avoid rooms in the 1000 - 2000 blocks. These simply face each other and you will spend your stay avoiding appearing naked in front of your neighbor across the walk, as well as EVERYBODY going to breakfast and to/from the lobby at all hour will be passing by peering at you inadvertently. The sewage smell that other reviewers mentioned are possibly worst in the 2000 block lower rooms, but may also extend to the 3000 block lower rooms due to standing water under the adjacent building from the reflecting pool (you'll see what i mean). AIRCON I stayed in 2 rooms so again can attest, the aircon units seem to be an issue. When on they are on full blast regardless of what pressing all the various adjustments on the remote control say. The good news is on the hottest days on April during the day they kept the room

Below average
Stayed 2 nights. Faculties and pool were generally unclean. Bathroom needed a thorough clean, rust and mildew everywhere. Right next to the dock so you could hear longboat motors all day. Sewage smell in various places around the resort. Water from taps didn't smell quite right... Wouldn't stay here again.
