Great for families

Pools, Rooms, Railay!
Located in Railay East, which is where the boats will drop you off. The beach in from of the hotel is a mangrove and not a place to swim or sunbathe. The amazing Railay beaches are a quick and easy walk away, though, and Railay East has many more restaurants, shops and climbing outfits to keep you entertained when strolling at night. Don't be deterred about the location. Its great. Hotel has two beautiful pools. Breakfast buffet is awesome. Great service. Lovely rooms. No complaints. There are monkeys around that sneak into all of the hotel rooms in Railay and mess with your stuff. We kept our doors well locked but when we came back in the afternoon we found cashews, sugar and chips strewn about. Housekeeping must have left the door open. The hotel staff promptly cleaned everything and didn't charge us for the snacks.

Great place

Room, staff, pool
Enjoyed it. A good example for other hotels in area. Only booked 2 nights and had to move as they were full. Wished we could have stayed there for all 5 nights.

Secluded, Too busy

Location, food (not the buffet breakfast), Infinity swimming pool
Facing a swamp like beach, it's just a narrow corridor and there were filthy water that flows out of on the corridor leading to Railay Princess from the town. The hotel lobby is understaffed, it was like a night market, defnitely not anywhere near a 4 star hotel. The buffet breakfast was a 3 star hotel grade although the staff were efficient. CHECK OUT TIME IS 11.30PM. For me, any hotel that offers check out time earlier than 12pm is unacceptable. And yes, I paid for the most expensive room and the room was really pleasant except that mine was facing another hotel's restaurant hence every time I leave/enter my room, I'd smell something heavy that the kitchen was cooking. It really doesn't feel good. Basically, I stay here JUST BECAUSE sunset on Railay beach is a MUST SEE. And No, I will never return.

a feel of mass tourism

cleanliness, location, comfort
I would not recommend this hotel. Although the rooms are clean (but bad smell in the bathroom) and comfortable, the rates are completely overpriced. Breakfast were very average (bad bread, dry pancakes, horrible 'artificial' juices, limited choice of hot drinks) For everything there's an extra fee. Bad wifi (almost no wifi in the rooms and average in the lobby), very problematic if you need to book the continuation of your trip. The staff was not even able to print my boarding pass for the flight ('no printer in hotel' was the excuse). I had to ask them 3 times. Additionally, the rooms are somewhat cramped, you have the feeling to be surrounded by concrete from all directions. Although there are not many good accommodation options in Railey, I would definitely go somewhere else for less and pay more for a little better. If you do pay a lot of money, do not expect much.
