This modernist hotel in Centro Historico is close to the Paseo de la Reforma and the city's most impressive and important landmarks. A block from Hidalgo metro station, the Ramada Reforma is in a relatively quiet area of the inner city, a few blocks away from the Plaza de la Republica and 10 minutes on foot from the historic buildings of Zocalo. Opened in the 40s, the hotel has been refurbished several times since then, but retains a distinct retro charm in its dark wood-paneled walls and deep red upholstery. A well-kempt and attractive pool area can be found on the seventh floor, and the hotel offers secure parking on-site. Nearby there are various shops, cantinas, taco stands, and of course a Sandborns store.
