Relaxing, good service and comfortable

Our stay was brief but enjoyable. Although at the budget end, you can notice the extra effort put into making the rooms and garden look beautiful. Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. And it's perfectly located to jump off the bus from Phnom Penh and jump on a boat to rabbit island the next day.

Great staff kind and helpful

I spent three nights at Rega Guetsthouse. The owners are a young french couple so friendly and helpful. They have plenty of advices about what to visit, have some motorbikes to rent.
There room was nice, the hotel has a small nice garden where you can spend time for chilling, having lunch or drinking some cocktails. Probably the best guesthouse I've been in Cambodia.

Fantastic guest house

I would highly recommend this guest house to anyone, young or old. All the guests we spoke to had only good things to say. Well priced, good food, good people, relaxing and kep is very nice.

Great hotel but in the middle of nowhere

The hotel has a lovely garden restaurant which serves decent food and complimentary breakfasts, decent rooms with good bathrooms and complimentary toiletries but it's main problem is it's in the middle of nowhere. There is a little centre to kep which consists of 3 or 4 shops but that's about it, and this hotel is a couple of miles away from there anyway. There is literally nothing in the immediate vicinity. If you have to stay in Kep this is a decent place to stay but my preference would be to skip Kep altogether.

Quiet place, peaceful setting

this is our second time staying at rega and we love it. the simple and spotless rooms are situated around a lovely garden creating a very tranquil environment to relax in. the staff are very friendly and helpful. meals served in the restaurant are delicious. when the a/c wasn't functioning, we received a discount off our bill. we would definitely come again.

totally natural surroundings, away from the centre

At first, it was a bit daunting being greeted by a black scorpion scurrying around me when I arrived! Also the electricity was out. Not a welcoming start! BUt next day all good. Very relaxing rooms. Electricity was working, and enjoyed being amongst the natural jungle setting. A good place for adventurers looking for something comfortable and quiet.

rabbit island. national park.

A good choice

I'm glad I chose this hotel. Kep is a strange place, very spread out and when I was there the place felt deserted. It was therefore very important to have a guest house I felt happy to spend time in. The owners weren't there when I stayed; a retired Parisian chap was looking after it while they were away. He was very friendly & helpful, though this was partly because I could speak French. The Khmer staff speak English and are helpful. Room was fine, nothing special. Good food and the rooms are in a square around a little courtyard, which gives the place a nice ambience.

Disappointing Over All

The rega hotel is aroud 5 km out of Kep, but there in a small conveniene store and restaurant within 10-15 minutes?
Allin all this hotel is not worth they asking, and 'friedly staff ' become less when it becomes no sales are going to be made.
Its small likes bottles of water not being replaced in the room after the first day, and this hotels poor location that mean my advice is to stay elsewhere.
