Thumbs Down for Regalodge Hotel

Staff courteous, wifi, close to eating places
Booked Premium but just got a reg Superior Room. Asked for non smoking but ash trays everywhere in room. Washroom is very tiny n the worst designed I have ever seen. Shower stall has half glass and shower curtain, thus water leaked from curtain and flood the washroom floors every time we took showers. Had to use all the towels as floor mats. Ac thermostat not functioning properly and there were mosquitoes in room. Parking is very limited and space very tight. Roads leading into the hotel are tough to access. It was our first time in this hotel and definitely the last. The reviews are over rated. Our 2 night stay was a Big disappointment.

Lack of Front Desk Staff

Location, Clean and Quiet location
Stay here for the 2nd time. As usual free snacks and drinks in the room. However the check in time for our 2nd stay was very slow. Only one staff working at the front desk. Clean and quiet room as usual. Usually before the guest check out the staff will help us to wipe the windscreen of the vehicle. I'm not really sure why this time only my vehicle windscreen was not wiped before we checked out but other vehicle have their screen wiped.

Just OK

Great Shower, Friendly Staff, Quiet
Poor location of you are visiting the Old Quarter. Rooms, although "renovated" need refreshing. WIFI in rooms virtually non-existent. easy to find yourself in sketchy areas (taxi at night) if you go out

It can be better

Room card holder was written 352 so went up to 352 and saw room door was ajar, my brother went in thinking it was just not close. Later my mom was in room alone when someone tries to open her room door, she ignored it as she already double locked it. Then later a hotel staff came and tried to open the door, this time my mom opened the door and asked what's wrong? It seems that my mom and brother went into the wrong room. The room card that was slotted in the power point is written room 350. Everyone will only see their card holder that indicates the room number right, instead they were given the wrong card holder or worst its has been written wrong thus they went up to the wrong room. And the toilet door is difficult to lock and when request for another towel, only one was given. There were no floor mat given as well. Please fix this. I choose this hotel based on the good reviews given but now I am giving a bad one.

1. Providing windscreen wash early the morning. 2. Breakfast is delicious 3.Complimentary snakes and can drinks in room.

Overall sarisfied

Quick service without delays, staff are very friendly and hotel is very tidy.
A great experience. Everything here is what you would expect from a hotel. The best part is where checking in and out is being done so fast without any delays. My only complaint is that there was not enough parking spots for the fuest and hope this could be improved in the future. Overall, i think this has been a wonderful experience in this hotel.
