Excellent Hotel

Close to airport for overnight stays
This is our third visit to the Regent Suvarnbhumi and we are very pleased with their service on all aspects especially the airport transfers which are very efficient. The spacious rooms with all amenities "that work" and the attached kitchenette.

perfect for overnight near airport

close to airport, free airport transfer, inexpensive, free wifi, comfortable
I stayed here 3 times in the last month with good and predictable service on all three stays. The rooms are really nice for the price--in fact would probably be in the range of $150-$175 in the US. The shuttle service is good but runs at scheduled times, not on a passenger needs basis so check the schedule for the departure times from the hotel. If you email them your flight info they will send you instructions and have your name on the sign at the airport; however, this isn't necessary as they have instructions on their website of how to locate the shuttle departure point within the airport. This will now be my standard overnight on passage through Bangkok when I have to overnight due to flight constraints.

This hotel is amazing!!
We only had one night in Bangkok, we arrived at 7.30pm, and had to leave the next morning at 9am. The hotel booking included a transfer that was easy to find and in a very modern van, which made transportation after a long flight very easy. The hotel it's self was immaculate, big bathroom, balcony, and a huge room with cumfy beds. As we did not have much time in Bangkok we didnt venture very far, but the hotel had delicious thai food and drinks at great prices. There was also two options for breakfast. The next morning they transfered us back to the Airport. Our stay at the Regent was fuss free and extreemly enjoyable for an over night stay.

Convenient, Comfortable, Flexible

Spacious room, close to the airport, flexible checkout, cheap
It's a great little hotel to spend a day or two, especially if you are catching a flight. Anything longer and you'd probably get bored, since it's out in the middle of nowhere. We traveling around Thailand for 2 weeks and it was a day before departure, so this was perfect. The rooms are large - it's a studio apartment converted into hotels, so you have a balcony and kitchen, but no utensils. You can extend checkout - 100 baht per hour, which is very convenient for those with strange flight times. There's a nice restaurant attached to the hotel which has good food, wifi, tv and the beers in the minibar are reasonably priced.
Hotel Feature Tip: extended checkout (checkout is at 2), 100 baht an hour. Beat hanging around at the airport. Also free shuttles to the airport.

Fantastic hotel- just what we were after!

Big rooms, including small kitchen, and walking distance to restaurants and night market
This hotel was just what we were after! By close to the airport and very comfortable rooms. Breakfast was not amazing, but it didn't fuss us. The size of the rooms for a family was perfect- even a couch and coffee table for playing games. We were on the ground floor with rooms next to each other. the airport transfer was on time and very comfortable in a van with space for the 5 of us. Would definately stay here at again.
Restaurant Tip: Turn left onto the main street and walk a couple of minutes and there is a large shopping area with great food options. The Japanese restaurant was awesome! And the night market had some great bargains

Ideal location for overnight or short stays.

Clean and decent sized rooms. Good restaurant on site.
Free roundtrip transfer a great offer. Staff there at airport to meet us when we arrived, after having gotten in contact with them previously. Good location for brief stays-10/15 mins drive to Suvarnabhumi Airport.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Desk staff very helpful in organising a reasonably priced, friendly, informative and English speaking driver for a day.

fairly close to the airport. nice room

close to airport.
We didn't get confirmation about airport pickup. We did find the rep eventually. Then it was a 5 minute wait and 10 mins in a minibus. Checking was quick. There was a fridge with beer and also coffee and tea making facilities. Handy for a late arrival or early departure.

Run down rooms, hard bed, unfriendly staff

Close to airport, very cheap
Arrived late in Bangkok so decided to get a close hotel. Rooms are comfortable but showing its age. Bathroom/Shower was a horrible experience. Almost no hot water and many light bulbs around the rooms are broken. Breakfast was of poor standard Very cheap hotel for those on a shoe string budget.
Travel tip: If arrive late at night, just take taxi directly into Bangkok. Not worth wasting one night here.

Well located airport hotel

Well appointed rooms with small kitchen for use
Regent Hotel is only a 10 minute transport from the airport making it well located for an overnight before flying. The rooms are quite adequate with a good bathroom and a small kitchen. There is a restaurant on the grounds for a quick bite and breakfast the next morning. It is geared primarily for a couple or the single traveler. There is a three-bedded room but a quad room or two would be nice for the family with two young children (grandchildren) as we had. The kids had to double up.
Restaurant Tip: Walk out of the Regent; turn left to the main street. Turn left and over the bridge. Before the Toyota dealership there is a local outdoor restaurant, perfectly clean, with outstanding food and very, very reasonably priced.
