Holiday Escape for 5Days & 4 Nights
This is our second stay at the Regent Taipei. It seems like the room hasnt been renovated, comparing to the first time we stayed in. The cleanliness of the room is poor. The bath salt were lying near the bath tub when we come back in the late afternoon. On the first day, the boiler inside the room was malfunction and the housekeeper changed it for us right away. Then, the next morning we received a follow-up call regarding the boiler at around 10:30am, but our room was DND, so basically we were woken up by that call, which it is quite frustrating when you were in a deep sleep. The lighting of the hotel and the room is very deem. Something good about the room is that the mattress is very firm and they have prepared my firm pillow prior to our arrival. Other than that, I don't think we will come back next time. We will go back to Okura Prestige Taipei.

Overrated
You can pay half of the price and get twice service in the other hotel. This hotel is for whom have hell a lot of money to spend. For normal visitors, not recommended.

Nice hotel but a bit overpriced for what you get
Strong points: Good breakfast, generally nice hotel interior layout, bar/ cafe area with live music, staff were nice and helpful. Weak points: Room view was rubbish, room decor was a bit drab and dated, hotel itself was a bit old.
