Nice location, spacious room, good value for money
The hotel is located at a quiet side street, yet it's close enough to walk to the main street and trains stations within minutes. Our rooms was spacious and so was the well equipped bathroom, and the breakfast buffet has quite a good selection as well. In general, we are satisfy with the hotel, except for the the attitude of the staffs. They seem to be a little irresponsive and unfriendly....they never greet us when we came in, and the bell boys and the valets never tried to help us with the luggages or to call the taxis until we insisted. The front desk staffs were also looking like zombies without even a bit of smile on their faces....

Good place to stay
Spent 3 nights here, had a good time, check in was fast and staff put me close to my brother who had arrived earlier, nice touch, this was because someone had noticed the surname was the same. Lovely room, clean. Nice pool area, the bar had good selection of drinks gave us free snacks, location is good for shopping outside there are a few restaurants and a 7/11

a little dated
Hotel needs a little bit of TLC, front of house staff were helpful but could have smiled a little more, seemed as though they were doing you a favour checking you in. Live music in the Lobby bar at night with a very good pianist. Breakfast good, pool small for the size of the hotel but again adequate. A very good inexpensive Thai restaurant opposite the hotel called the Lean on Tree. If you enjoy Indian food on the top floor of the hotel is the Rang Mahal. They serve Northern Indian Cuisine. The mutton dishes are superb. Ask for a tabke need the window views over Bangkok stunning. Only thing the live bands music was very loud and it is a little pricey. Can recommend a wonderful Thai guide who speaks very good English and is happy to spend all day doing what you want to do but ask me for her details.

Stylish and comfortable room, but poor room service
I stayed here before, about 20 years ago, and was pleased that the hotel is not 'dated'. My room felt classy and comfortable and had good views. Another stand out point is the hotel staff who are generally very attentive (although I was a little frustrated to have to wait about 10 minutes at check in, which could have been avoided if all 3 reception staff weren't attending to one group of 4 guests). The buffet breakfast was very good and I had an excellent dinner at the Italian restaurant. But, my room service breakfast was dreadful. It was 25 minutes late and everything was cold....the toast, the eggs, bacon, and even the coffee was cold. I can only presume that the breakfast was cooked on time but then left waiting on its trolley, there was only member of room service staff at that time and he must have had too many deliveries to make at the same time. I complained about this when checking out but was still required to pay the breakfast service charge which I thought was inappropriate.

Good value
Nice business hotel and more. Swimming pool is clean and big, Breakfast is good but gets boring after a while The rooms are clean but need a fresh look The locations is not bad for the price u pay but people traveling with kids could opt for Novotel platinum or holiday inn chitloom There a free tuk tuk ride to the main road, next to Ashok station. There is a massage spa outside the hotel called lemon leaf it's really clean n a genuine spa

One night in Bangkok....
Once again our stay at this hotel was everything we expected. Even easier as we knew exactly where to go. All staff we encountered were very helpful a few friendly and made a pleasant night.
