The worst place I have ever stayed after Crimea

Staff, location, price
It was awful. We started with a room on the first floor with a really small double bed, no space at all, no TV, smell of mould. After I couldn't rinse the water in the toilet they suggested to move to another room, much bigger with 5 beds. We did it. In the new room we had cleaner air (less smell of mould), but NO HOT WATER. But that wasn't the worst news. The worst news were mosquitos flying over your ears all night long. By some reason electric device spreading anti-mosquito smell didn't help. The only thing that help was a huge loud cooler at the ceiling which rotated and blew to your face every 20 seconds, so mosquitos had no time to land on your face and eat you. Also seemed like all furniture and everything around was 100 years old and badly serviced. Rust on door handles, water leaking from the sink, almost no stream in cold shower, light switch was hanged on wires... Wifi worked sometimes in public area with terrible speed, almost not usable at all, so I used wifi in other public places. I'm glad that I was returned money with no questions and people working there were really nice. Overall I rate this guest house not as 2 stars but as Hell and I really hope that hotel's management will take initiative to change things.

The room was simple, airco didn't always work

Christmas dinner, hospitality
Sometimes it was hard to find one of the staff. Upon check-in we waited half an hour before someone showed up. The air-conditioning was turned off too often, so it was very humid in our room. We really enjoyed Christmas Eve with a delicious food here.

not nice

friendly staff
I wouldnt reccommed it to anyone. Rooms were big but not very clean. no hot water and bathroom looked terrible. We left a card "dont disturb" and when we came back from the trip our door were open ! someone was in the room - they said the cleaner- but we clearly dais we dont need room cleaning this day - regarding the bathroom It was a drama for me when I had to take a shower. Friend of mine booked standard room - which i thnik u coulndt even call a room ! Animals live in better conditions. Doors couldnt be locked, aircon was so laud u couldnt fall asleep !

quite disapointing

only the location was good.
Matress was terrible.

Disapointment. Does not worth the price.

aweful mattress. nice customer service
price was high for what we had. no hot water. matress are just aweful. you can fill the spring getting into your ribs. we booked a tour at the reception of the office but it is not what we had. we did the main lagoon that was indicated in the tour map but they changed the last destination because of the other person that they put us the boat in with. it just felt like we were here to fill a boat... the only pros would be the reception desk were people were nice and welcoming. over, i will not return to this hotel for sure.

Pass. Not more, not less

Price for El Nido
If you really want to experience the overcrowded El Nido, this hotel is a good quality/price ratio. Not more, not less.

Nice hotel where everything goes wrong

Nice rooms
Hotel is in good location and rooms are fine but..arrived and they had given our room away despite payment in full. They tried to shunt us elsewhere until we told them we were not moving and they were to kick out the people they gave our room to. The toilet broke, the shower broke, the geyser broke the toilet broke again... They really dont know how to run a Hotel. But there is limited Choice in El Nido nd the facility is not bad and is value for money.

simple and cost effective with great breakfast

cheap, good breakfast, great location
Beautiful place - rooms were very basic. cold shower, but this was fine as weather was hot. lovely staff..
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: El Nido is stunning for beautiful islands and scenery
Stephen R. Couples New Zealand, April 30, 2012
ok. could find better for same price.

appeared to be run by a friendly family, but not sure as not a lot of communication
On arrival we were told that they had no rooms. I advised that we had booked and paid already. After a bit of a stand off we were given a twin room (requested a double). This could have been because of no wifi to check for staff or guests. We were never asked for a copy of our booking and after being given key apart from saying hello/goodbye we never interacted with staff. Room was OK but dark and used bandaid in bathroom a bit off putting. Found another place on waterfront for same price which was much more pleasant.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: El nido we'll worth the effort to get there. Take cash as no atm's.

Budget hotel

We were upgraded from standard to bigger room.
Proximity to bars & resto are just walking distance. Rooms needs improvement; busted light, dusty. Additional bathroom amenities; soap dish, water has bad smell. But overall stay is good.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: You can check out other tour operators for a lower island tour and select the food. If you have prefer to buy your own meal they will purchase in the market and cook it for you. Guides were friendly and entertaining.
