Rude, unfriendly staff, horrible kitchen

Nothing at all.
We encountered only one rude person in our three weeks travel in Argentina and that person works for Residencial Noelia. It was raining in June, temperature was 13 degree C. Our double room with private bathroom had no heat, no extra blankets. I was told by this man wearing a heavy jacket, "It is tropical here. We don't need heat. If you want, you can leave". I asked him to write on a piece of paper that we were asked to leave by him He then magically found a small, portable heater. He showed us a spiral staircase to access our room upstairs. Th stairs are all wet. I asked him if he can help us with our luggage. We are 52 and 70 years old and our luggage was basically two small hand bags. I did not want one of us to fall down the stairs. His answer was "No". And he disappeared. The room was fine, hot water was hot, towels were ancient and threadbare. Everything was uncomfortably wet and humid. Breakfast was adequate. Kitchen was horrible. There are better located hostels in Puerto Iguazu. We stayed the night before in Residencial Uno, right across the street. It was not as well maintained but the staff performance alone made it much more pleasant place to be. I can not recommend this sleazy place called Noelia to anyone.

Location is good and the staff is kind

Location is good
very closed to bus terminal and supermarket. but if you are talking an independent room not just a bed, you many expect them to euqip more and make it more clean. the face towel and shower towel were quite worn. shower room was small and a little bit smell. if you are having a vaction, may suggest you to chosee hotel not a hostel. location is very good though. breakfast was very basic.

Reasonable price with great facility

Location, swimming pool
we enjoyed staying here because it's much better than what i expected. the entrance look very nice including the swimming pool and lobby area. the room, including the hostel services and breakfast are above the hostel standard. however, only some staffs speak english but we for those who don't speak english still provide us with a very good service.

Hostel standard, good value for money

Friendly staff but they speak only Spanish
Located in a quiet street -- do not return to hostel too late in the evening. 10 mins' walk from main bus station. Staff was helpful but they did not speak English. Really difficult to communicate as they used google translator to talk to us... well... Not really effective. Room condition - small, tidy, but small insects may appear from time to time. Breakfast -- well, suggest you bring your own.

A really delightful treasure

beautiful outdoor area with trees and aviary. Room was spic and span and smelt lovely and fresh.
this hotel was such a delightful surprise as the cost was very low. the hotel was fairly close to the bus station, which we used very much, to get to the falls on both sides, argentina and brazil. the garden made a lovely restful area both day and night where you could get a beer and listen to the birds in the aviary.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Bus station was nearby to visit the falls on both Argentina and Brazil. If you visit the Brazilian side, you need to take your passport. Local bus ride to the Animal Rescue Shelter, which was really worth a visit, the guide was very knowledgeable and could speak many languages.

Excellent value for money

Clean, Helpful service in English, Wifi
I arrived late at night after a flight delay. The taxi took me straight there and accepted $US. I was very pleased that I was expected and would recommend this hotel to any budget conscious customer because they supplied everything a traveller needs. They required cash payment which is fine considering the cost. It is also very close to the bus station so very convenient for countrywide buses as well as local buses to the falls.
Travel tip: Note that the falls park does not accept $US so have some pesos. 100 at the time of my visit and next day 50 if you apply as you leave on the first day Don't take your passport to the falls unless it is in a waterproof container. To visit the park in one day is a full day. Because of the heat I did it in two.

Fair value for money

Good location
nothing fancy, room has ac, clean bathroom etc. if you looking for basic and comfortable place to sleep during your trip to iguazu this place is for you breakfast as everywhere in argentina is very poor (media luna + coffee)

great and quite location, near busstation

location, friendly owners, nice garden
first impression of the place was very good, central location but at the same time a quite place with large trees and a nice garden. Only 10 minutes walk from the busstation. Directions could be a little bit better. Very friendly staff but most of them dont speak English. Room was OK, bed a little small for long people. Wi-Fi was nice. Breakfast was enough/OK but a little more variety would have been nice.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: ofcourse the Iguazu falls, but also the walk to the 3 land point is very nice.
