Tasty breakfast foods!
Here are some concern before go to the food. The facilities offering in example bicycle rent, ATV rent, & etc are expensive. Room, interior, furniture & etc are rundown. However for breakfast RWK served very good and tasty local food! Must try!

Beach and Pool
The resort is dated but still well maintained. Love the huge lobby area and overall building structure. The outdoor pool, beach, game area are the crowd puller. Big room. The decoration, bed cover, furnishing design looks old. Bed and pillow is still great for good night sleep. (These may be new)

OK la.
If you have to go to Kerteh, this is the one only good hotel. Hotel need to improve on friendliness of their staff. You will spend a very long time standing in the lobby, queuing for checking in and out. I have been to this hotel on numerous occasions. This is a problem for years, and they still do not improve. No free internet. Ok breakfast.

Steady decline
I have stayed at this hotel on many occasions, but I cannot help but notice its steady decline. It has little competition where it is located, but mainly because there is little to do in the area unless you want to lie in the sun. As a business traveler, it is convenient, but that's about it. The food is unimaginative and basic, but there are few other places nearby to eat unless you have transport. On this visit, three instances epitomized the problems. The TV channels showing Vision 4 (what else is there to do?) did not work after the first day. When I questioned why, I received a vague comment about sending away for parts or a license (I never did find out what) and that it would not be available for a few days. When I asked "how long", the receptionist had no idea... The second incident was that the water supply to the hotel was cut off for 12 hours, from 2 pm to 2 am the following morning. Actually there was no hot water from about 8 am and no hot or cold water from about 11 am - the taps were just spitting brown water as the tank was emptied. The toilets would not work either - no further comment needed. I was offered a couple of extra bottles of water to help - a total of 1 litre. Of course, events like the water supply shut-off are sometimes unavoidable, but the lack of preparation, of warning or advice made it much worse. On the Sunday they held a fire drill - for the staff. I could barely hear the message in my room and, had I not opened my door, nor would I have heard the fire alarm. Then almost all the staff left to stand on the grass at the rear of the hotel. I'm pleased that they take is seriously, but what about the guests? In a similar practice at a hotel in KL, all the guests also had to leave - to practice the most difficult and relevant part of the fire drill. Maybe I am being hard, but good customer service can overcome a lot of poor feeling. When I checked out I commented to the person on reception about my dissatisfaction - a

Overall was good except for the water disruption
The resort had a water disruption issue when we arrived, the bathroom and toilet had brownish rusty looking water that turned us off. The issue settled only at a little late in the night after we ran the water clear. Other than that, the staff is very friendly and the hotel is very clean despite looking a little old. The lobby is the typical open air concept and the beach was wonderful! Will come again, hopefully no water disruption issues.
