1. What is the Agoda Rewards Program and how does it work?
The Agoda Rewards Program makes it easy for you to earn Rewards Points for reservations made through Agoda Travel Network sites. With 100,000 hotels in more than 100 countries worldwide, the Agoda Rewards Program offers you a great selection of hotels where you can redeem your Rewards Points.

Membership
2. How do I become a member of Agoda Rewards?
Agoda Rewards membership is free. Simply submit a reservation request and you'll automatically be registered as a member of Agoda Rewards, or simply sign up at http://www.agoda.com/rewards/signup.html. An Agoda Rewards member ID and password will be sent to your e-mail address, so you can access your account and enjoy the benefits of Agoda Rewards. Members who sign-up through our site will automatically receive 1,000 bonus points.
3. What are the membership levels of the Agoda Rewards?
Agoda Rewards offers two membership levels: Premier and Elite 75.
Premier Members
All new members are automatically assigned Premier Membership. For every dollar you spend, 20 points are credited to your account.
Elite 75 Members
Earn more than 75,000 points in a single calendar year and you'll become an Elite 75 Member. This entitles you to receive 31.25 points for every dollar you book, as well as allowing you to redeem points on a more flexible scale. Members maintain Elite status for the following calendar year. Members who fail to earn 75,000 points in the next calendar year will revert to Premier Member.
4. What if I made my booking prior to the launch of Agoda Rewards?
(Launch Date: 20 July 2004)
Any bookings made prior to the launch of the Agoda Rewards Program are not eligible for membership or Rewards Points.
5. I am a member of the Agoda Market Affiliate Program – can I become a member of the Agoda Rewards program?
Members of the Agoda Market Affiliate Program are not entitled to an Agoda Rewards membership account and its benefits.

Rewards Points
Earning Points
6. How can I earn points and how many points do I earn for each booking?
a) For bookings paid on the Agoda website, points earned are based on the full cash value charged to your credit card. For reservations made that require payment at the hotel, rewards are based on the room rate advertised on the Agoda website at time of booking. Every dollar spent, earns 20 rewards points. For example, if you make a booking worth US$1,000 and the full amount is charged to your credit card you receive 20,000 points on the transaction. Elite 75 Members earn a bonus of 55% additional points. Every dollar earns 31.25 points.
b) Rewards Points will be credited to your account for every booking you make, regardless of who the guests are. You can earn Rewards Points by booking a hotel stay for your friends and family too.
c) If you refer family, friends or co-workers to Agoda Rewards, you'll earn 500 Rewards Points for each of the first three referrals. To make referrals, login into your account and click on the "Refer a friend" tab.
d) Once you've checked out of your hotel, you'll be asked to provide feedback on your stay. Each completed hotel review will earn you 500 points.
You can post a review either by clicking on the hotel review link in the departure email, which will be sent to you after your check out date. You can also login to your account and click on the "Review hotels" tab.
7. What are double points?
All bookings for hotels offering double points will earn you twice the amount of points you would normally earn. For example, if you make a booking worth US$1,000 you receive 40,000 points on the transaction (rather than 20,000 points). Elite 75 Members will earn 62,500 points (rather than 31,250 points). 8. How do I check my points balance and booking details?
You need to log in to your account at http://www.agoda.com/rewards/index.html and click on the 'Points & Transactions' tab to see details of your previous transactions. Your available points balance will be displayed on this page. On this page, you can also check the status of your outstanding bookings.
9. How long does it take before my Agoda Rewards Points are credited to my account?
Rewards Points are credited to your account 30 days after your departure date from the hotel.
10. How do I get credit for a missing transaction?
Contact our Rewards Department or send us an inquiry via e-mail with your Member ID, the relevant Booking ID and reservation details. Once we've verified the transaction, we will process an adjustment to your account.
11. How long are my Rewards Points valid?
All Agoda Rewards Points accrued in a calendar year remain valid until the 31stof December of the next calendar year thereafter. Expired points cannot be reinstated and will be deleted from your account. Points earned in June 2008, for example, will expire on December 31, 2009.
12. Can I buy points?
Agoda Rewards Points cannot be bought.
13. Do I earn Agoda Rewards Points for bookings under the Low Rate Guarantee policy?
Agoda Rewards Points will not be given to bookings that are confirmed under the Low Rate Guarantee policy. For more information on Low Rate Guarantee, please refer to our Policies.

Redeeming Points
14. What is the minimum number of points I can redeem and what is a Standard Award?
The minimum redemption level is 12,500 points for all members. Premier Members can redeem Rewards Points according to the redemption scale below:

Point values cannot be combined when making a standard hotel reservation. Special Offer promotions may use a variable scale for point redemption and these will be independent of the Standard Award Levels.

15. How do I redeem my Agoda Rewards points?
To redeem points for a booking, please login to your account on the second step of the booking form (Customer Details)- the login link is at the bottom right of the page. In the Payment Options page, you will see a drop down where you can choose your redemption level.
16. How do I know which hotels are available for redemption?
You can redeem your points at any "Agoda Special Rate" hotel. After you've selected your stay dates at the hotel, you will see whether it is a "Agoda Special Rate" or a "Special Rate" hotel in the rates section.
17. I have chosen the wrong redemption option. Can I redeem a different Award Level?
Sorry, you will not be able to change your redemption level after you have submitted your booking request.
18. I haven't redeemed points on the booking form. Do I still have the option to redeem?
Sorry, you will not be able to redeem points after you have submitted your booking request.
19. Can I redeem my points for friends and family?
Points can be redeemed for friends or family only when the last name of any one guest matches the account member's last name.
20. I made a booking using points and would like to cancel it or shorten my stay. Will my points be refunded?
If you cancel a booking where your points were used, your points will be refunded upon cancellation. For shortened-stay bookings where Agoda needs to refund you the reduced amount of the booking value, the points you have used for the booking will be refunded first. If the amount to be refunded exceeds the value of the points you have used, your will be refunded in cash in addition to the points.

Transferring Points
21. Are my Rewards Points transferable?
Points are generally not transferable. If you have used your Credit Card to pay for bookings through a member not under your name, you can transfer points according to the amount that has been charged to your Credit Card to your account only with permission from the owner of the account in which the booking has been made.
The other exception for points transfer is for accounts registered under the same name, where a duplicate account has been created in error. In this case, the two accounts will be merged.
22. How do I transfer the points between accounts?
If you are transferring points from another member's account to your own account because you have used your Credit Card to pay for part of a booking, you must ask the account owner to e-mail rewards@agoda.com to grant permission. You will receive points according to the amount that has been charged to your Credit Card.
If you are transferring points between accounts registered under the same name, you must provide us with the proof that you are the owner of both accounts, which means registered names, contact details, and Credit Card details in both accounts must be the same. To request an account merge and transfer of points to an existing account and to terminate the new duplicate account, e-mail rewards@agoda.com.

Troubleshooting
23. Why is my credit card not being accepted?
Please check that you have entered the correct credit card number. If you have used the correct details and are still having problems, please contact our Customer Service Center for assistance.
24. I have entered the password sent in the e-mail registered with the Agoda Rewards Program, and it gives me the error message: "The information that you have entered is invalid." What am I doing wrong?
Your password is case-sensitive, so please check to ensure that you are entering the password correctly. If you have used the correct details and are still having problems, please contact our Customer Service Center for assistance. Alternatively you can request password retrieval by using the 'Forgot your password?' link.
25. What if I did not receive my Member ID and password after making a booking?
If you do not receive your Member ID and password after completing the booking process, please send us the details of your Booking ID via e-mail to rewards@agoda.com. We will retrieve the information and forward the details to the e-mail address we have on file.
26. Why isn't my hotel review posted on the website?
All hotel reviews are screened by our editors before being posted on our website to ensure the content complies with our review guidelines. Any review that is deemed unsuitable for publication for any reason will not be posted on the website. We’re working hard to approve your reviews as soon as possible. Reviews will generally show on-site within 10 - 14 days, however this is dependent on volume. During high volume periods extended timelines may occasionally occur.
