Cozy place in the center
Safe and nice area, well-equipped, cozy for long stay. But cleanness and maintaining is quite disappointed.

Home away from home for a week
We stayed in the Deluxe Suite. It was nice, but I probably would have gone with the cheaper room if I could do it over again. It does look like the pictures, but these are not brand new, so there is some wear and tear. All in all, I was happy with it. The apartment buildings in the surrounding area are fenced in and have 24 hour gated access, and even have a small store in the complex. There is also a "Western Market" about a 5 minute walk from the park. I read that there was a gym and pool in the complex, but I didn't have the time to find it or what I needed to do to use it. The location is excellent because the park is a short walk from the Subway Line 2, which does a loop around a portion of Beijing hat houses many of the attractions you will want to see. Line 2 also connects to most of the other Subway Lines that you can use to visit other attractions. Some of the reviews that I read commented on the cleanliness... I will admit that it was not the cleanest place I have stayed before. My fiance brought some cleaning tablets and did about an hour of cleaning, so no big deal. The finishes are not perfect, because let's be honest, not all guests take very good care of the place. Here's an idea... smokers, go outside and smoke! The most frustrating thing for me was trying to figure out the water heater in the bathroom. There are three switches on the wall in the bathroom: lights, fan, and water heater. We took a rusty orange bath the second night there because something happened with turning the water heater on and off; my recommendation, just leave it on. After that, everything was fine. Also, some people said that the staff was not very good. We had no issues, but my fiance is also Chinese. Even in Beijing, most people do not speak English. So if you are traveling, you will want either brush up on your Mandarin or seek the aid of someone who does speak it. Overall, this was a great place to stay. Although everything was not perfect, it was exactl

Dirty and stank
Disgusting stains on bed platform under the mattress. Dirty in all the corners and on surfaces such as windows and counters. Washing machine had purple stains in the detergent and softener section. Water kettle was very caked over. Entire placed stank of cigarette smoke. Curtains didn't close properly. Housekeeping came by on my second day. They threw away my bag of coffee, package of nearly 100 coffee filters and half bag of cereal! Ok, maybe they thought it was garbage? But, if so, then why did they bother to take the effort to decide these items were garbage and to dispose of them but did not bother to tidy up anything lying next to those items on the counter (e.g. small pot, small strainer)?

Nice serviced apartments
Location Staff Room
A nice option rather than a hotel room. We enjoyed our time here and the easy access to all Beijing has to offer. Very helpful staff, will return.
