Excellent hotel!!
Incredible hotel! Its a small boutique hotel and unless you book one of the suites the rooms are pretty small but we thought it was cozy. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Hotel is beautifully decorated, the pool area smells of fresh flowers. We loved swimming in the pool. This was our favorite hotel of our 2 week trip, and we stayed mostly at high end hotels. The location is fantastic, also have a great breakfast as well. We will definitely stay here again!

Great boutique hotel
We had a great stay here with a very clean comfortable room with a great buffet breakfast. We liked the lanna heritage style of the hotel and the attention to detail. Our only comment is that the bottom level room we had was quite small

I'm by no means a stickler, but at the same time, it's hard for me to not notice certain areas that need to be improved upon, in order to justify the price of a room, or accommodation, in order to feel as if there were a fair exchange in money, for value. In this case, it was not a fair deal, to be sure. At the same time, I'm not in the business to hurt other's business interests, and wish Rich Lanna House all the best in their future venture as a hotel, as it's obvious, due to it's full booking during my three day stay there, that it is doing alright, fiscally speaking, and that others were not put off by some of the details that I, and my wife were. The only bulk of my complaint lies in the cleanliness of the accommodations, as well as the irritating mosquito that made their way into our room, which lead to us having to put tape around the door frame, in order to quell the constant onslaught of the unwelcome guests; not something I want to be doing during my holidays, trying to relax. I feel more could be done, to deal with the obvious mosquito problem - and was not - perhaps this was only an issue with the level of room we booked? The other concern was the cleanliness factor. I kind of expect, when paying 90 plus dollars per night, that the room would enjoy an actual cleaning - rather than just having the towels folded up, and the bed made. There was no discernible sweeping or cleaning I detected, which, after three days of our stay, became dustier, and even less clean than when we first arrived at the hotel. Again, I'm not a stickler; I just want an equal exchange for my hard earned money, and at that price - I was not feeling the care, that justified the room price. I'm looking at a review from peter richardson, up in the right hand corner of my screen, as I'm typing this review, and he says, "great & room & pool well maintained", and perhaps his room was "well maintained", but for some odd reason, ours, was not. My other concern was the noise in the ho

A lovely place
This place was really nice. Despite the small room size it has a homely feel to it and the best shower I've used in Asia. A great place for couples or older travellers. Scooter hire and markets close by. Great breakfast and coffee. Pool was nice and relaxing. Staff are polite and helpful.
