Description

This riverside hotel offers a stunning view of the Singapore River and is within walking distance to fashionable Clarke Quay. The Robertson Quay Hotel is conveniently a five-minute walk from Singapore’s premier entertainment spot of Clarke Quay, where hundreds of restaurants, bars, and night clubs can be found. The Clarke Quay MRT station is slightly farther away. Orchard Road is also a comfortable 10-minute walk from the Robertson Quay Hotel. The modern guestrooms are compact but extremely comfortable and fantastic value for money. The rooftop swimming pool, complete with a waterfall feature, offers a great place to unwind and enjoy a panoramic view of Singapore.

We got what we paid for
Room is clean, breakfast decent, air-con very cold but blankets too thin [air-con thermostat adjustable but no effect on desired temperature].

Don't judge a book by its cover
From the outside this unassuming hotel doesn't look much but it's clever use of space and close proximity to Clarke Quay makes it a good consideration if you on a budget with a family. We had adjoining rooms which made the place feel bigger. Kids had great fun in the pool. Not big but enough for them. And if you like Japanese food this location will spoil you for choice!

PRETTY DISAPPOINTED
Pretty disappointed with the service. I booked this hotel for my sister and my brother-in-law, from Sydney who visited us. The booking was for 9 nights. Apparently, they were first checked into Room 9-03. After 3 nights of disturbance from some drilling works upstairs, and only after they requested for a change, they were finally transferred to Room 6-11. The hotel should know that they were staying for 9 nights and surely efforts should have been made to assign a better room for them. The first room was directly facing the lift so surely one can understand the noise from there. Pretty disappointing considering that the hotel came highly recommended. Please consider carefully the assignment of rooms, especially for people who were staying for long periods.
