Great hotel. Shame about poor service.

Location, breakfast, comfy bed

Pleasant stay. Room was a little small but ok in general. Mini bar didn't work. Rarely had any staff on reception so we couldn't report issues with anyone. Towels weren't replaces during the 5 day stay and there was nowhere to put them so that they dried between showers. Toilet roll ran out and wasn't replaced until we texted the manager.

Budget hotel but not so good location

Walking distance to Vatican city

This hotel is generally very near to Vatican city which is the top attraction point. The hotel service is not up to mark and the rooms were not cleaned even though the check in hour already past. The hotel staff even clean our room when we were already in the room.

Pleasant hotel with lovely staff

location, cleanliness

hotel was very nice, clean, i did not miss anything. though our room was small, we enjoyed it. this hotel is really good place to stay, if you want to enjoy the beauty of rome and yet want to have nice place to stay during the night. location is perfect - only 10-15 min far away from vatican. despite this the street is not too loud. staff was very very friendly, they did not speak too much english, but it was ok. :) location is perfect - only 10-15 min far away from vatican. there are some small shops around, coffee house, kebab, burger king and great shop with crepes:) breakfast is not that "hot deal" - you get voucher for coffee and muffin or croissant.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Angels Castle, St. Peter's Basilica

Bad Hotel

No Service
2.3
The hotel is on the 4th floor of a residential building. It is a apartment divided 4 rooms. It is a small sign board of the hotel name infont of the main door entrance so we are very difficult to find the hotel, we asked twenty people how to get there from the Metro station but seems nobody know. Finally we arrival but nobody here, we can only call the staff from a notice stick on the door which have the contact number, we wait outside there around 15 minutes. The room is very small, we cannot move and put the luggage in the room. We stay this hotel four nights, we always cannot see any staff as we back the hotel in the evening time. We only stick a note on the door as we request something in the morning time. At the last day before, we back to hotel in the afternoon so we can meet the staff and ask him how to check out next day, he agree us the check out time 2:00pm in next day afternoon. However, when we back to hotel ,there have a staff (female) shouted us why so late to check out, we explained to her, but she just only warn us to pack the things in 10 minutes and also cannot close the door, eventhough we changed our clothes then just closed the door a few minutes, she knocked the door many time to chase up to leave. In the meantime she warn to us cannot close the door again, otherwise, she will charge one day more for the accomodation. We are very very disppoint so we quickly to pack our things. For breakfast, we have to walk out to the cafe, they give us the coupon, we can have 1 croissant, coffee and juice. All in all, it is quite dissapointing that this B&B failed to even do the basic right.I won't visit this hotel never again.!!!!

Nice rooms - perfect location - good value

Location, clean, comfortable

Great about everything except 2 things : The window could not open wide because of scaffholding behind it : prefer rooms with street view ! The taxi the hotel called for a 4.30am only showed up at 5.00, in the meantime had to find another taxi in the street, not easy at this time !
Shopping Tip: No need to buy mineral water as fountains all around the city provide everybody with great tasting water

- No staff to serve when you wanna ask any information. Even when I check out I just leave the key and put money for the beverage at the counter. - It's troublesome cuz there are many keys to use it in order to go inside. Due to this hotel is a service apartment which is at 4th floor of building. When u wanna go out, u need to use a key to turn it open. -Staff can not communicate english properly. - The door is hard to open. Some more no staff to serve you. Noboday can help. - Overall room is clean & nice. Good location & reasonable price. Since I collected the key on the first day I arrived, I never met staff anymore even when I check out. I just leaved the key at the counter. For breakfast, u must walk out from the building and go to the cafe around 300 metres and you can choose only 1 croissant and coffee or juice.

Pleasant Bed and Breakfast

Very friendly staff, though Language was a slight problem
7
A well appointed room lacking only in in-room beverages and a comfortable arm chair. Whilst in a busy and potentially noisy part of Rome, the double glazing blocked out most of the traffic noise. The hotel room service was excellent and the reception staff was present all thoughout the day til early evening.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: The local Metro station Ottavia is about 15mins brisk walk, not too far really and very close to the Vatican and Vatican Museum. If visiting either of these places go really early or late mid afternoon as the ques will not be so long. Don't go for the spruikers "jump the que tickets" to the Vatican as it is actually FREE. You will need some time though to visit the Vatican Museums at least 3-4hours. If you go to the Musuem first you will come out into St Peter and you will not need to go through the metal detectors again.
