Lovely stay

The food is amazing, staff are wonderful and scenery is unique and beautiful.
Our stay at Romyen was amazing. The food prepared by Dawn and the staff is the best Thai cuisine I have ever tasted. The bungalow is quaint and an agoda review cannot justify the beauty of the tranquil, relaxing surroundings. Everything is clean and the rooms are spotless. Dawn and the staff cannot do more for you and really go the extra mile. I would give Romyen a 10/10 it really is in a league of its own.

Great garden retreat

location out of Chiang Ria, clean and home cooked meals
for a place out of the hustle of Chiang Rai yet able to get transport 5 min walk to main road at 16B with great frequency. Set in nice garden setting. Meals were cooked to Oder and value for money. Highly recommend as a nice change of pace

The relaxing garden

The garden. Hospitality. Food
After 3 days in Bangkok and a long bus tour we were happy to stay there and relax. It was a quiet relaxed time there surrounded by friendly people!

Our stay

1. Our bungalow was like a haven in the country 2. excellent food and breakfasts 3. good wifi
We enjoyed our stay very much. The A/C worked well, the food was delicious and the breakfast was wonderful and varied from morning to morning, the wifi was good, there was plenty of hot water. We were in bungalow #4 which has 2 BR that would be perfect if you were traveling with family or friends. The sitting area, porch and kitchen are shared. The kitchen has a nice size refrigerator, hot pot, tea and coffee, sink and table and chairs. Out of our 5 night stay, we had the whole bungalow to ourselves which was wonderful, the other 2 nights were also enjoyable as we had nice housemates. They clean thoroughly, so if something you need or want looks amiss, ti might be tossed out. Very minor, but a major inconvenience when my resealable ziplock that I used for my cosmetics was thrown out. Not a big deal because I had packed extras. We had read reviews where you could see between the slats of the wood on the walls. Very very minor and nothing could crawl in that teeny space. Not a problem at all. Over all, we REALLY enjoyed our stay here. It was great to be away from the city areas and to enjoy the peace and quiet of the resort. But you will need transportation. The resort would arrange for tours or car transportation for guests. It cost us 350 baht to and from the bus station which was about 10 km away. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Paradise in Chiang Mei

Staff, grounds, rooms
Our stay was excellent, we were picked up from the airport, brought to our beautiful lodges and were provided everything we needed to be comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, omelette, coffee toast, and the dinners were also very good. At least as good as the restaurants we tried in the area. Our hosts were very friendly and very accommodating. The resort is located outside the downtown core and is quiet and relaxing, so much so that we often felt like staying at our lodge ans sitting on the porch overlooking the lush grounds instead of going into the city. You need to take the bus or cab to get to the city center, and this is easy and inexpensive. The staff felt more like friends as we were leaving, and we all wished we could have stayed longer. A month in this place would be amazing!

Great place!

Bungalow, garden, food
I was there with my family from the 15th of February till the 19th of February 2015 and I can only write nice things about this place! The owner is really nice, always willing to help you to organize anything you may need at the most reasonable prices, the place has a wonderful garden in which you can relax after a day in the crowed Chiang Mai. The place is about 10km from the center of the town, but there are plenty of buses passing every 5 minutes that bring you to town for 8 baht/person. The food is really good. I can only recommend it!
