Not 4 star. Basic but clean. No parking or wi fi

Quiet room. Tv worked. Nice carpet
Was shown room in basement first but this was damp and wi fi and tv didn't work. Moved us to 3rd floor room. Basic but clean decor. Tv worked. Ill fitting curtains. Cracked mirror. Sign in reception stated rating was 4.star in 2012 . Disappointing.

Big rooms, comfy armchairs, bathtubs.
Nice place in grand historic building and well located for central Liverpool. Very good value. Only possible negative is that windows do not open, so can get quite hot on warm summers days (these however are a rarity in the north of England)

pleasant stay

staff, location, comfort
I needed a centrally located hotel that was reasonably priced and comfortable. Although it cost a little bit more than I was hoping for, it was well-worth it. Considering how close it is to the city centre (and the active Liverpool night-life) it was much quieter than I expected. And the staff was kind and helpful and I couldn't have asked for more. I was seriously tempted to stay an extra night!

Excellent position and very well turned out

Very cheap, especially considering the excellent decoration, and very convenient position.
Had a very good stay here, the onlt criticism is that the double bed was two singles together but still very comfy. Enjoyed the stay very much, will go again especially if the price is the same.

Great location, comfortable stay

Location was great, room size was generous, staff were very helpful and friendly
Room comprised several adjoining small rooms, with an office/study area and dressing room as well as ensuite. Free wifi very fast. Staff helpful with any problems and local advice. Location is great, central to both cathedrals, philharmonic hall, Liverpool University, easy walking distance from Lime St and Central stations. Just round the corner from great restaurant area on Bold Street. Highly recommended.
