There is no way this is a 4 star hotel

No lift and very narrow stairs. Not suitable for those who have luggage (which is most people using the hotel). Only given 1 key for two people, the hotel front door is locked and there’s no one on reception after 6-00 pm or before 8-00 am. This is simply impractical. No breakfast, no restaurant The TV in the bedroom is the old CRT type and doesn’t work at all Unable to provide simple business services such as printing a colour document Security within the hotel is inadequate. This is a nice 1 or 2 star hotel. There’s no way is can be classified as a 4 star hotel. This was a “special” deal on the booking website and so we couldn’t see the hotel details, just that it was 4 star. We were shocked when we got to the hotel. It must contravene the trades description act or similar.

Teeny tiny

Location,location, location
The Hotel is in a great location, easy to find and accessible for major transport. The décor is original and quirky. However, our bedroom was just too small for two people to function in. We had a separate bathroom which was great, clean, spacious, well appointed, great shower and bathing products. But the bedroom, the bed/day bed was pushed against the wall leaving a space about 1 metre wide to move about. The only hanging space for clothes was above the shelf that held the kettle and tea and coffee "facilities". If one person needed to move, the other had to climb on the bed. The room might ok for 1 person staying 1 night with very little luggage.

Too much rough with very little luxe

Location location location
I liked the decor idea, but the rooms were cramped, and there is a glass panel in the main door of your room and a motion sensor light in your hall so you have zero privacy. The toiletries were lovely, the service was not. This hotel is not value for money, it is not boutique and it was a major disappointment.

the interresting interior. The rich amount of different pillows so that we could both find one that suited our different needs. The location
I stayed there with my 16 year old daughter. Our stay was good on all acounts. We got upgraded and more or less had our own two room apartment. The breakfast was good but expensive 12 Pounds pr. person pr. day is a bit steep for bread, cereal, fruit and some scrambled eggs.

Short and enjoyable

Rugged decorations, great location
The room was clean and spacious although it did not look as glamorous as the pictures shown on the website.
