Hotel Room Stinky & Dirty
The hotel room is stinky. The carpet is dirty and has mold around. There is cracks in the washing bath tub that will get hurt is step on. I book for two nights but still choose to check-out after the first night.

too much noise
Our room was at the side of the hotel level with the pavement we looked out on to the national express coach station and had a venue that played live music opposite two of the nights we were kept awake until gone 2am (Thursday and Friday) and Saturday night it went on until 4am so we ended up checking out at 5.30 on the Sunday morning to find the night staff at reception arguing amongst themselves

Overnight stay at the Albion
It's in a fabulous location right on the sea front by the pier
We only stayed for one night ( needed a bed for the night after dropping my son back to Uni ) We had a non smoking room , we had to keep the bathroom door closed to stop the smell of smoke wafting into the bedroom which was ? Coming in through bathroom ventilation . There was scaffolding outside our window with a printed notice on the bed advising us to keep the curtains closed as workmen would be outside from 8am -4pm . The room was clean and very basic one pillow on each bed . The bathroom was in great need of refurbishment ( obviously the hotel is being renovated as there were wet paint signs around the stair wells ) the towels were too small to wrap around you after showering we paid £72 for the room only and on reflection it was probably only worth half of that amount . The reception staff were very friendly and helpful .

Great Location, but not good value
Location, location, location
My wife and I stayed on a Thursday evening to meet friends who were staying there. We had a superior sea view room. The hotel has on-going refurbishment at present, scaffolding on the exterior after storm damage. Not only does the storm damage need rectifying, but the rooms need updating, badly stained carpets need replaced, cracks in walls need fixing, bathrooms need to be refurnished. Staff try their best, but the food quality and furnishings need to be improved to match the cost that they are charging !!

Internet connection is bad
location, view, decoration
Although the decoration is good and location is near the seaside, the internet connection is really bad. I asked to changed the room once and I and two other colleagues finally found the connection was bad in all our rooms. If you need to send&reply some important mails, or do some works during your travel. I don't recommend this hotel.

Poor rude staff, dirty rooms,
I found the staff very rude, they were not prepared to store my bag when I arrived before checkin. They also did not allow me to check in early. They were very unfriendly. The first room I got was in a basement, no sunlight or phone reception. They did kindly move me but in to a twin room. My friend stayed at the student hotel. So much better and a similar price.
