Had issues with the heater then we were transferred to a new room with issues on the toilet. You'll feel like you're going to have a heart attack everytime you flush the toilet. The toilet was also leaking so the bathroom is dirty we didn't have floor mats! There were no slippers nor toothbrushes. No free bottled water and no bottled water for sale either! I was so tempted to transfer to a different hotel. The staff were friendly that was the only thing that was ok.

Out of the Way and Unkempt

supposedly quiet and away from a main street, supposedly inexpensive and supposedly efficient
4.3
in general, it was a disappointment, The place is quite a walk from the main corner where one can hail a cab. Rains will be a problem since one has to navigate that distance. The street is very dark at night too! There were a lot of street urchins and thug-looking people in the corner. While staff was friendly and tried to be accommodating, the room given had a toilet that spewed awful stench that i had to keep the door shut. The towels had seen better days; they were so yellow and frayed. Worst of all, the hotel booked a seminar for ladies who screamed all night and early in the morning. Their first floor dining noise could be heard all the way to the room in the second floor. Some of them even slept in the couch on the floor I was in! So much for making money at other guests' expense and comfort. Not recommended.

Comfortable, but no elevator and room service.

Quiet and courteous staff. Rates are reasonable.

Comfortable and breakfast was good enough to start the day. Our room had no phone though and it was hard to call for room service. The generator was also noisy in our area during brownout.

Environment not crowded

The hotel is accessible although it is located along a side street. It offers a homey atmosphere.

Clean hotel, helpful front desk and security staff

Front desk staff were fast in calling for a taxi by phone; the security guard was very helpful and carried our bags to our second floor room; fast check-in and checkout; amenities were okay.

so far, so good. though i'll never book at this hotel again because of its location. as we were given a room at the rear side of the building, i was surprised to find a squatter area as a view! it was frightful to walk to the hotel at night as there were no street lights. the hotel is located in an interior street. also, not recommended for senior citizens as the hotel doesn't have a lift going up the 2nd and 3rd floors where the rooms are.

Good enough city hotel

breakfast, friendly staff, easy access to public transport

Check in & Out was a breeze. Staff are very friendly. Breakfast was good even if it was plated. there is no in-room wifi. You have to go to the common areas for wifi access. this is heaven if you are a smoker, because you only have to go out of your room, and you can already smoke in the open hallways. Our first 2 nights were a disaster because the aircon was extremely noisy...as in it could wake you up in the middle of the night. After our first night we requested to be transferred to another room, they said they will just fix the aircon. But when we came back at night, the aircon was not fixed, and the room was not even cleaned. It was only on our third and last night that they finally moved us to a more quieter room. At least I had one good night's sleep in Bacolod.
