Nice room, polite staff and decent breakfast choice. Room was a bit too warm with no air con.
Door handle/lock on our room a bit suspect and needed staff to show us it locks from the inside!! Also, we were told no bag storage unless you came down early to put your bags in which we didn't want to do. No parking available either so another £20 having to park in nearby car park.

Excellent location. Friendly staff
The location is prefect. Just opposite of rail station. You won't be able to missed it. We were probably the last to check in, so when we arrived the hotel, everything was ready. We left Bath Spa late at 7ish pm and the hotel staff are very helpful in keeping our luggage. Friendly staff. The room is very clean and the toilet is spacious. Definitely recommend it

Great location
Located right next to the train/bus station and shops, we found the Royal Hotel a great place to stay. A bit lacking in the facilities but par for the course in this type of hotel, I suppose. Front counter staff could also have been a bit clearer regarding the availability of reserved parking spaces.

Nice stay in bath
Great breakfast selection, welcoming and helpful staff, convenient to train and bus
Very nice experience. While not in the historic downtown area just a quick walk in to the sights (less than 10 min) with shops, restaurants and travel hubs steps away. Large bathrooms, good free breakfast. Could hear only a little noise from train occasionally.

Very happy
Room size, clean, charming
I came from a shoebox hotel room in london so upon arrival I was very impressed. The exterior was charming, my room was so big, I liked the vanity table and mirror, modern bathroom, king bed, clean, free dvd hire, lift, train station across road is handy, bus tour stops at front. Reception friendly. Would definately stay again. I loved it.

The position of the hotel was excellant, The receptionist was very polite, friendly, proffesional and helpful as were the staff in the restaurant and bar. Finally the rooms were very clean and comfort
Not having heard of this hotel or having stayed in Bath before we had a open mind on what we would find. We were very pleasantly surprised, we were greeted very warmly and professionally, in fact all the staff were very, and good very helpful.Only 3 points we found slightly irritating but perfectly understandable:- a) insufficient parking places b) Lift very small (could only take 2 passengers) so we had to wait quite a while to be able to use lift. c) The sausages for breakfast were bland (a very petty detail)
