Luxurious hotel in great location

Clean, spacious rooms and toilets
this is a great value-for-money hotel. it's excellent location is within walking distance to the st. paul's ruins and shopping belt. there are plenty of small eateries also within walking distance serving great food and drinks. a 7-eleven located just across the street is a great convenience. the hotel staff are knowledgeable and very friendly. the hotel is equipped with a well-maintained gym. overall, i would recommend this hotel whether for business or pleasure.

Nice room but no WiFi, only LAN internet!

Good food in hotel restaurants with live evening music at lobby cafe.
Overall was a pretty good experience, this was my second time staying at this hotel. Improvement is needed as there was only WiFi internet at the lobby. There was only LAN internet in rooms, which is unacceptable at this era! Also, one of the trainees at the reception desk was kind of clueless on some of the hotel's features and arrangements. He was working a late night shift by himself, didn't know where the trainer was. Lastly, some of the bell boys are kind of lazy and not opening doors for guests at the lobby.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Public bus stops are located along the street at the bottom of Vasco Da Gama Garden, which is across the hotel entrance. Make sure to have plenty of coins when taking public buses.

convenient location and facilities

shuttle bus to various casinos, electronic casino in-house, short walk to attractions
the hotel rooms were nice and clean, there were frequent shuttles around macau to the casinos and even the ferry terminal. there was also an electronic casino at the lobby which was convenient to go to especially at night. well-known hotel, so taxis were familiar getting to the hotel. food and attractions were also nearby and within walking distance.
Restaurant Tip: Robuchon au dome at the grand lisboa is worth a visit for food lovers at a very reasonable price

The ruin church is just walking distance from this hotel
Everything was OK, there is no wifi inside the room.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Wear your comfortable and closed shoes to keep you warm (winter) and comfort. You have to walk a lot.

A hidden gem in Macau!

Nice room & a really comfy bed!
We are indeed very happy about our stay @ Royal Hotel! Getting around you may have to rely on the hotel shuttle which arrives every 30 minutes & you can hop on to other shuttles at the Ferry Terminal to other casinos! Alternatively, you may have to rely on buses or taxi to move around as it's stationed a little far from the place of interest. The room comes with really comfy bed & nice deco, not forgetting well maintained for its age. Internet is only available at the lobby, after all if that's your leisure trip, you shouldnt have worried much!
Restaurant Tip: There's a nice restaurant just 1 minute walk from the hotel serving the best pork burger!

Nice hotel, relatively cheap

Nice and clean hotel that is relatively cheap
The hotel rooms are nice and clean and hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Location is slightly off the main cluster of major casinos but it is an excellent choice for the budget conscious who are not too keen on the casinos and just want to take in the sights and sounds of macau.
