convenient location and facilities

shuttle bus to various casinos, electronic casino in-house, short walk to attractions
the hotel rooms were nice and clean, there were frequent shuttles around macau to the casinos and even the ferry terminal. there was also an electronic casino at the lobby which was convenient to go to especially at night. well-known hotel, so taxis were familiar getting to the hotel. food and attractions were also nearby and within walking distance.
Restaurant Tip: Robuchon au dome at the grand lisboa is worth a visit for food lovers at a very reasonable price

The ruin church is just walking distance from this hotel
Everything was OK, there is no wifi inside the room.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Wear your comfortable and closed shoes to keep you warm (winter) and comfort. You have to walk a lot.

A hidden gem in Macau!

Nice room & a really comfy bed!
We are indeed very happy about our stay @ Royal Hotel! Getting around you may have to rely on the hotel shuttle which arrives every 30 minutes & you can hop on to other shuttles at the Ferry Terminal to other casinos! Alternatively, you may have to rely on buses or taxi to move around as it's stationed a little far from the place of interest. The room comes with really comfy bed & nice deco, not forgetting well maintained for its age. Internet is only available at the lobby, after all if that's your leisure trip, you shouldnt have worried much!
Restaurant Tip: There's a nice restaurant just 1 minute walk from the hotel serving the best pork burger!

Nice hotel, relatively cheap

Nice and clean hotel that is relatively cheap
The hotel rooms are nice and clean and hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Location is slightly off the main cluster of major casinos but it is an excellent choice for the budget conscious who are not too keen on the casinos and just want to take in the sights and sounds of macau.

Awesome Service and good location.

Hotel room was very well equipped.
We had a very memorable experience there. The service was excellent and the location of the hotel was withing walking distance to the city area.

Nice room and amenities with one/two minus points

Nice room, value for money, friendly staff
All is fine except a bit of moulds in the bathroom. 10-15 mins walk to the main city area or St. Paul ruins.

Overall great hotel!

central location to different tourist spots, walking distance to Senate Square, St. Paul Ruins, Red Market, Guia Fortress, friendly service, free shuttle to and from the airport and around macau and taipa
room is big and clean, complete facilities, free city map and shuttle. only downside is the check in time which is past 3pm. If you get in early, you can just leave your luggage at the front desk and go around and come back after 3.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Avail of the hotel's shuttle service around macau which takes you to the Grand Lisboa Casino, Wynn hotel, Sands, Fisherman's Wharf and Macau Ferry Terminal. Then you can just walk back to the hotel from any of those spots. There is also a shuttle to the Taipa island which brings you to the Venetian and City of Dreams. There is also a stop at the Macau Tower before crossing the bridge. Most shops close by 7-7:30pm.
