Lovely hotel, conveniently located

Convenient location
Although it was a short night's stay, i enjoyed the clean room and good service from the hotel staff at the reception. in addition it is conveniently located, and nice stroll from the hotel to the historic centre of Macau for sightseeing, shopping and food. with the provision of shuttle service to and fro the ferry terminal and the hotel, getting to the hotel is not an issue.

This is an older hotel that has been completely redone while maintaining all its charm. It is clean and very comfortable. Our room was quite large, by Asian standards. The bathroom had a beautiful inlaid marble floor, large marble counter with an under-mount sink and new bathtub. All the necessary toiletries were provided. The bed and pillows were very comfortable with crisp white sheets and a duvet. The bedroom had crown molding and nice use of wood. The staff were well trained and pleasant. The small casino, with mostly slot machines, served delicious free coffee. As the rooms were non-smoking it was a convenient spot to have morning coffee and a cigarette. There is a very large pool, a gym and a sauna. The hotel was far more luxurious than we were expecting at the price that we paid. It is a bit removed from the more frenetic areas of Macau but there are lots of shops and restaurants in the next block. It is an easy walk to all the sights Macau has to offer.

The amazing hotel locates in the qiuet place

I want to live in the hotel becasue of the decoration and the style of the room , I get the feeling of luxury.
I want to live in the hotel becasue of the decoration and the style of the room , I get the feeling of luxury. And the king size bed make me very comfortable. The hotel is very silient and no other disturbance exists.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Very near to the very famous sightseeing and CASINOs,but the guests are better to arrive at the hotel in the day because of the altitude of the hotel location ,so the guests can find the best and direct way down town

Great Location, Good Service and Nice Room

Not your normal Macau hotel, quiet and away from the crowd yet only 10 minutes walk away
The hotel rooms are nice and tidy. The staff and friendly and efficient. One person at the concierge deserves a special mention. On the morning of our departure, we decided to venture out to the Chipseng coffee wholesaler to purchase our coffee supply. It used to have a supermarket at "White Horse Lane" (白马巷) where we went for their excellent selection of coffee beans every time we came to Macau. This time, the store was closed. We asked around and found out from people what bus to take to go to their warehouse, but had a hard time finding where the nearest bus stop was. This chap went out of his way to help us, even called the company to make sure they are open on Sunday. One small complaint from a coffee lover, there lobby lounge used to serve different types of coffee: Columbia, Blue Mountain etc. This time, they only have Starbuck! All in all, the Royal is really value for money if gambling is not your primary objective for visiting Macau.

Simple hotel with good location

Overall the hotel is good, but the bed sheet provide and towel not so clean. I hope royal hotel will do their best to provide better services in shuttle bus service by going to more attractions places rather than casino.
Shopping Tip: Senado square is the best place if you want to have a little bit of the local delights. It is near to macau city. The food such as pork chop bun, egg tart can be found there. But for best Portuguese food, go to cafe nga Tim. Best Portuguese food ever with reasonable price.

Great hotel

free shuttle bus from ferry terminal
We booked two superior twin rooms from the hotel. It was a pleasant stay. However, it would be better if the hotel provided free wifi in the room instead of just the lobby. Would have appreciated the staff to explain on the usage of our credit card was for deposit purpose instead of just swipe without informing. Bell-boy was very helpful when asked about location to certain places. Bus is also available to airport with minimum charges but advance booking is required. Breakfast should be included for this rate we paid for so it's not really value for money. Other than these everything was good enough.
