Nice honeymoon choice

Quite, friendly staff, reasonable price
During our three days of stay, it was quite and relaxing. We had similar breakfast everyday, reasonable price for dinning, drinks. Nice beach, I learned snorkeling and diving here.

Everything is just perfect

Staff performance, location, food
Everything is just perfect for us, enough said. 1. All is so organised, from the moment we touched down at Male Airport till we were back at the airport, there was always someone taking care of us. It sounded like a hassle at first, had to change domestic plane and then a speedboat. But the hotel made it all easy. 2. Love the food, especially breakfast. The table was assigned according to the room number and we didnt get to choose the place we want, which is quite strange at the beginning. But having a waiter specially assigned for you, showed how they want to ensure we are well taken care of. Though the food sounds expensive, around USD50 per pax each meal, we still think it was compensated with the good taste and varieties. 3. Staff, all very helpful and friendly. There was no one passed by us without greeting which we thought was rare. 4. The facilities were very good. From sea-sport center till indoor games. 5. Maldives itself is a heaven, and this superb hotel just a combo to our perfect honeymoon. Will certainly recommend this place to friends.

Unprofessional Airport Desk no.6 (Sunway)

friendly staff, beach stony border, Food variety
Compared to other resorts which i visited before I gave it 8.5-8.8 as customer score. 3 things made it lower than 9 points 1st the short reach internet 2nd there was No TV in the room to watch after daily activity and 3rd their representative desk in the airport made a mistake which resulted me to wait 3 hrs in the domestic flight hall although I arranged everything earlier perfectly. Overall I enjoyed my time with the nice staff in the island

The Ultimate Island Paradise!

Beachfront villa, serene and nature surroundings, delicious food
We booked this hotel at the last minute when we reached Maldives. Initially, we were thinking to book another hotel as we were given a great package but decided to book Royal Island due to amazing traveller ratings. All of us enjoyed our stay! We used most of the sporting facilities -- tennis, badminton, pingpong. We had wine by the pool bar. We engaged in some water sports activities too. We enjoyed the food at the Sunset restaurant on the other side. We stay at the Boli Bar if we wanted to just chill. We walked around the island at night. We loved the beach villas most of all, with the water literally just a few steps away. Although we had an unpleasant experience with one of the staff, and spoke to the GM who was very accommodating. Our whole experience, however, was really relaxing and enjoyable. A definite must stay and highly recommended!

Wonderful experience! Swimming among fish is great

Snorkelling Diving Sitting by the beach and do nothing
It is the best experience so fat at Maldives. Water is so clear the you can see up to 10meters under water. Very few people on the island so you can enjoy the quietness. Great beach and sea view!

Overall staycation experience was pleasant and within expectation. Location of resort is quite remote and both air/sea transfer are neccessary upon arrival at international airport. Wide selection of food and quality is not so bad but pricey. Villa located in front of beach and both sunrise and sunset view are fantastic. Water sport activity and spa package are also best feature of this resort. Most of the staffs are friendly. Air and sea transfer are smooth but subject to change due to local weather condition.

Recharged, totally relaxing

diving school, the lagune and closeness to water
I booked the Royal Island resort and spa, last minute and in view of this being the peak season i find I got a good rate from agoda! You have to appreciate the island, the nature, tranquility and wonderful clear water just 3 steps from your cabin. If you snorkel or dive it is fantastic. I must emphasize the Diving club is excellent and very helpful! I would book a week minimum to really get to appreciate your stay there. The Wifi was only available in the bar which for me was great as could relax without thinking of work but my wife would have liked it to skype write with the children back home!
