Great hotel for young families with young children
Our stay at this hotel was better than expected. The room was surprisingly bigger than we had anticipated. It was big enough for 2 adults, a baby, 2 large suitcases and 3 carry on luggage. The location was superb. Even with a 16 months old baby, we found it very convenient to travel around in a subway. The shiodome station is within a walking distance from the hotel, 10-15 minutes. Though the price was on the high side, we would definitely stay here again.

Great location and value
We booked the Tower Suites Double. Not sure if it was included but just not mentioned on the booking or if we were upgraded, but we got a room on the 38th (premium) floor with a view of a park and Tsukiji market, and daily breakfast for two. Here's a quick summary of our excellent stay at The Shiodome RPH: Location: the hotel is conveniently located close to the Shimbashi station. However, for those not used to living/staying in a large metropolis, although the hotel is connected to the station, it may still take 10-15 minutes to walk to a certain subway line as the stations have many exits and are well connected underground. In addition to train/subway, there is always a taxi standing by outside the hotel and the valet is very helpful. There is also airport shuttle to and from Haneda and Narita airports. Facilities: the hotel has a spa and a gym, although I did not use either. There are several restaurants on-site. For the daily breakfast there are three options: Western buffet, Chinese buffet, and Japanese. We ended up going to only the Western and Chinese buffet, both are small but have delicious food. There is also a 24-hour Family Mart convenience store downstairs, which provided several yummy late night snack/drink options. We also quite enjoyed the iced and hot coffee available in the vending machine on our floor. Room: My biggest concern with booking a hotel in Tokyo is with the size of the room and the size of the bed, as I have read many reviews in the past that mentioned Tokyo hotel rooms are small. Our room is not the case - we have a HUGE (King+ size) bed, and the room still has a small seating area and desk. Overall I was very satisfied with the size of the bed and the size of the room. The premium floor rooms also offer high ceilings, which is a plus. Room is very clean and comfortable. Amenities/Others: There is a capsule coffee machine in the room and mini bar. Of course, there is a nice toilet in the hotel (specialty of Japan). But I LOVE the

friendly staff
We stayed for two nights for our last leg. Room is a bit small as well as the reception area but it's close to Ginza and train stations. We could almost see the Tsukiji market. Hotel staff are very helpful and friendly. The airport bus is right at the door which is big plus.

Excellent central location, a bit old school busin
Great staff. Awesome location. Ginza line 5 min walk and heart of ginza 15. Tsujiki Fish Market 10-15. Staff were wonderful. My husband had a phone call 6-9 in the morning and they found him a quiet space to do so in order for him to not wake me up. Wifi can be a little spotty. Amazing view of Tokyo Tower and lively expat bar scene.
