Nice Hotel in old building, clean, very friendly
very helpful reception, nice big room with charme
The hotel is totally worth the money (look out for offers). It has big rooms with high ceiling. the shower and the bathroom were clean and worked fine. The best about the hotel was the service of the nice guy from the reception. He is very friendly and makes you a warm welcome (we didn´t find this anywhere else in India). Follow his recommendations, especially about restaurants. Try Avanti, looks not very nice from outside but has great food and service.

Pleasant
location, size, value for money
It was a comforting stay. this hotel is housed in an old portuguese house, hence one may not find the luxuries of a hotel in it to the fullest extent.

Spacious room with helpful, friendly manager.
Huge suite room with heritage character. Extremely helpful manager. Close to good restraunts.
We booked a standard room at a sale price on Agoda and on arrival were upgraded to a suite which made this exeellent value for the price paid. The room was huge and the bed very comfortable but furnishings and decore were very basic. The manager, Vishwanarath, was pleasant and friendly. He was extremely helpful in booking an onward flight and did not charge a commission. The Phoenix Inn is within easy walking distance to all of Panjim's attractions and to some very good restraunts.

nice and relaxing
quiet and relaxed location, rustic feel, comfortable
This is an 80 year old Portuguese building converted into a lodge. It is not much of a hotel as such, there is no restaurant or kitchen. Its rather like a relaxing holiday home in an old setting. So its not for people who are looking for a vibrant hotel and probably not for people with children also. But if you want a laid back place with an antique feel, go for it. Very suited for 'suszegato' :-)

Remindes you of the past
nice house, friendly and clean
It is a beautiful and very cozy and the owner is so helpful. The homestay is in a nice neighborhood, but simple. From there you can walk and visited some attractions or you can catch a bus. At central bus station you can easily get a bus to visit Old Goa. He can also provide you with tours. Again he was a helpful person.

Amazing hotel and very friendly service
Very nice location and very friendly owner
I ve stayed in royal Phoenix inn just one night but it was very relaxed and nice. Rooms are great and clean with an amazing view to the temple as well as Centrally located in the Portuguese area. Breakfast was included but basic. As I ve arrived early in the morning by bus I was able to check in immediately as a room was available. In addition, the owner answered all my questions about panjim and possible Sightseeings. Moreover he helped me to organize my ongoing trip to the South beaches by taxi. Thanks a lot for everything,

Great start but poor fend
Beautiful rooms
This hotel really is beautiful and the rooms are done so well. Difficult to find as no ricks has or taxi drivers seem to know where it is. The main man at reception was helpful until the last day when it felt that because I was leaving, he had no need to be nice to me. I went to shake his hand to thank him and he didn't even look me in the eye.
