perfect renewal
I stayed this hotel before 12 years, and it was the first time to stay after their renewal. Yes, all of facilities are perfect, and staffs are also great.

Location
Hotel location is good and the hotel is adjacent to a shopping mall where food is just within walking distance.

Super convenient
The staff are really helpful and super friendly. There is an exit from the hotel directly into a shopping mall with a big food court and supermarket so is really convenient when you don't want to go out or simply just to avoid the rain. The location is great and is about 10minutes walk to Mong Kok which is a must see for tourists.

Great rooms and staff
The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful. The only drawback was the location. You have to take a taxi to the tourist attractions. But it was handy at times to get the free shuttle service.

Almost Good
Overall: satisfactory. But a few improvements here and there would go a long way to making it good. For example, small efforts to be more friendly and professional by staff. Their English abilities (or lack of), their less than friendly tone/language/gestures, and their lack of some basic knowledge re directions, local attractions, and other basic needs of travelers will all remind you constantly that you are not visiting the Alps or Hawaii; you are in a bustling SE Asian city. Cleanliness was fine but there is a ubiquitous smell of bad perfume and other strong scents--which are, I think, meant to be pleasant--that are inescapable. If you're sensitive to strong smells, be prepared to have headaches. Everything in the hotel is a bit crowded, noisy, and tight, but that's to be expected.
