Excellent choice

Great service, great bar down stairs and an excellent feel in general.
Very good, it might be a bit far from the cbd for some however my partner and I loved getting out walking around so wasn't a concern for us
Tony S. Solo travelers Australia, May 23, 2015
night reception staff only issue

room decor\furnishings, ambience (for rating) location.
received a good price so shouldn't complain, only a couple of small irritants that probably stopped me from rating it higher and maybe why it isn't 5 star but probably could be 4.5, one was that when I went down the the front desk fairly late, maybe getting close to midnight, there was no one serving at the desk, but i could see/hear a male staff member through the (almost) one way glass behind sitting talking/chatting to some one else, a female staff member. At the same time as i arrived a tired looking couple arrived with their luggage. We must have stood there for at least 5 minutes while the staff talked. Because i knew there was someone there I thought maybe we hadn't been seen, so i made sure i stood right in front of the glass, the other customer also made sure he could be seen. i saw the gentleman in silhouette turn and look out at us at least once before they continued to talk for quite some time further. When the lady staff member eventually came out she attended to my needs in 15 seconds. The daytime staff I encountered were very good and helpful. The other minor issue was the rubbish bins in my room not been emptied, however everything else in my room was very clean and well prepared. Am forced to give a rating on food but didn't have any so have just picked the middle option.

QUick single night stay

location, comfortable bed and really nice shower
It was great - although it took a while to get the wireless to work. I had a good night's sleep in a really comfortable bed and the checkin and checkout process was seamless.

Perfect easter holiday

Location, cleanliness and friendly staff
Loved it and will definitely stay here again
Siew S. Couples Singapore, March 30, 2015
unimpressive, uncaring service

room was a decent size; more room than suite
Would not stay there again: Had a decent experience the last time ecn though it was relatively further away from town. Was a mystery hotel pick. Customer service was very apathetic - folks checking in ('who know it's ready when it is ready'; understandably beyond their control but at least mitigate and show care/sympathy) or the lady delivering a wedding cake. Rooms were fairly old. Lifts not working on the last day we were there. Never again!

Rydge Hotel

Size of room, staff were very helpful
Because I did not know Melbourne all that well The Rydge was further away from where my meeting was held. For that reason only I will probably not stay there again. The room I stayed in needing refurbishing.

Comfort aplenty & a short walk to CBD

Location, comfort, restaurant.
On the edge of town, very convenient & comfortable. Quiet.
Meng C. Families with older children Malaysia, February 22, 2015

The hotel is obviously below my expectation after paying for over THB 24,000 for three nights. It is old and relatively run down with internet speed so slow that I could hardly use. I've experienced air-conditioner malfunction on the first night and it was such a horrible experience. Luckily it was working after I called up the reception the next day. Not recommended to stay .
