Not an indoor Pool
The pool was semi-enclosed which meant the ceiling was open; which is usually not too bad when swimming in winter. However, To get to the pool: the lift opened up to the front entrance of the bar and restaurant, you had to walk outside along a balcony past all the drinkers to get to the pool, and the bar's male toilet entrance had a glass door that looked at the pool. Walking back across the balcony in dripping wet swimmers was freezing. The room said WYSIWYG, we saw a balcony, we didn't get a balcony, the front desk took 2 phone calls over 30mins to be bothered to come and fix our TV. There were no channels or movies for children in their so called Foxtel/movie pack. Do not put the shampoo or conditioner in your hair, it's like waxy paint stripper. THE GOOD POINTS The buffet breakfast was lovely; they heated your croissants, made eggs to your liking and had a "make your own pancakes" machine. The room was pretty and clean, the bathroom also nice and clean but very basic; shower, toilet sink. The mini bar was decently priced and not way over the top, so was good in an emergency. I'd say a 3.5 star but they could defiantly step it up to 4.5 with a few changes.

Good Hotel in a Remote Corner of the City
The staff were friendly. Hotel room was clean. But too far away from city centre.

Comfortable clean hotel
I enjoyed my stay, the room was clean, roomy bathroom, service was excellent. Location was a bit far from the city but. Oh and the noise from the traffic at night was kinda annoying. Tram stop is located 1km away from the hotel, too. The park with playground is across the road, great for family with kids.

SO many things that need attention.
Room not ready by 2 pm although we were told in the morning they would ring us if ready before 2pm. Room changed by reception staff resulted in special requests not being adhered to. Restaurant and Breakfast Bistro out of kilter to today's needs. Poor service with in room catering. Need microwave in rooms seeing you are so far from any worthwhile food outlets. Etc. Etc,

Never felt so disappointed
We traveled ,arrived to be told no parks left ,then they found a spot in the disabled out front .all excited to settle in only to be told we can't use the resteraunt as its fully booked but can have meals to room ..get to room can't see much out of filthy windows almost fog like from not being cleaned for a long time ( I'm a cleaner by trade ) ..later went down for a drink on lower floor and they said we can't use it ..booked for private function ..what's the use I said and wish I never paid to be there ..went back up with no drinks ,feeling gutted only to look at menu ..not much choice with room service ..we got food delivered and charged for the tray ..the food was our highlight ,chef needs a compliment ..then to get drinks we had to travel to look for a bottle shop and got lost ,extremely inconvenient ..we became very upset and angry at this hotel as we where very tired .woke up went to check out ,to be told we have a car park fee ,what a joke and we won't in the secure park ..didn't see that in there advert ..oh and I had to ask for wi fi password ..we could not wait to leave there and down a lot of money and rich on stress off we went very very disappointed .sorry but the truth needs to be told when they say they offer all these things and then pay and then told we have all these restrictions is not good .
