5 Star Budget Accomodations
The beauty & uniqueness of the bungalows, the atmosphere, the food
I absolutely loved Sabai Corner Bungalows. I was a bit wary after reading a few of the negative comments but my experience was just the opposite of some of the posters. We had fabulous dinners at the bungalow. The quantity and the quality was superb. We ate one night at another place and realized we were getting very good value at Sabai Corner Bungalows. If you want a 5 star high end resort, don't stay here but if you want a 5 star adventure/budget bungalow... stay here. I would not recommend to my friends that need the porter, the room service, the spa, the modern facilities with air con. I would highly recommend to people that have similar tastes to mine. The bungalows are very thought out. They are not made of just wood thrown together. The wood is polished, the layout of the deck is amazing. I felt like I was in a Swiss Family Robinson story. We had a wide open floor space with a hammock - perfect for morning yoga. We also had a deck with 2 chairs and a hammock - perfect for sitting in the evenings and listening to the waves. The room was tastefully done. The negative for most people is that the bathroom is not in the room, it's connected around the corner on the deck. I get up very frequently at night and this is always a concern for me however, it was perfectly fine. Given that we have traveled in Southeast Asia for more 20 years, we are perfectly used to bathrooms that do not have separate shower stalls. If you need that luxury, then this place is not for you. Also, we are fine with cold showers. We were in Bungalow #4 - it's the Standard room. They have more upscale rooms and I understand that some have hot water. I will definitely come again as my teenage daughters are begging us to take them to this Swiss Family Robinson setting. (If your teenagers need luxury... not a place for them - this is for teens who like the adventure and appreciate the beauty of simple things)

Pleasant relaxed weekend
Nice view to Phang Nga, good spot on the beach and good service
Just spent one night at Sabai Corner Bungalows. It is a nice, peaceful spot located on the beach, with several of the bungalows off up the hill behind. It was a lovely place to laze around and do nothing, which is precisely what I did. There are also lots of options for active people too - kayaking, boat trips etc.

Jungle feeling, close to beaches
Communication with the Italian owner is very smooth via e-mail. Breakfast is sufficient. Diners are good to very good. The Thai staff is a bit rigid and uninterested. The houses are looking very nice from the outside in the jungle. The inside is very small and quite dirty. Our mattress and bed had big blood staines. The sheets were end-of-life. The shower only has cold water. The bathroom was a bit shabby. The electricity did not look very safe. Only fans. Good mosquito nets.

Great location, right by the ocean
Location and view amazing
The location was amazing - our bungalow (no. 1) was right by the ocean. Lovely views.
We didn't try much food, but it seemed good. The mini mart down the road does a great breakfast.

Nice quiet place to stay clean and friendly staff
Quiet location,nice gardens and view
Our stay was pleasant however the electricity went off during the night which made it very hot, due to the mosquitoes we were unable to open windows and doors. There is no air conditioning.Staff were friendly and the view was nice. The accomodation was very basic and priced fairly high compared to other places in Phuket who provided more comforts.

Budget bungalows. Service so-so.
Good location with great views
We chose Sabai Corner Bungalows due to the price. It was a very basic setup. The rooms have a double bed under mosquito net, bathroom is downstairs and is quite dark inside. The location beside bushland means that there are more insects (cockroaches, mosquitos) and there was evidence of rodents also. Some of our things were eaten overnight. Wifi reception is only around the restaurant/reception area. We hired a motorbike at a cost of per day. It had a flat tyre and we were told that it would take an hour to fix (at our cost). We waited for well over an hour and there was no sign of the bike, nor the manager. We approached some of the female staff and they very reluctantly gave us another bike to use. We rode past the repair shop and noticed the bike still there 24 hours later, still with the flat tyre. Lucky we did not keep waiting for the repair! In general, Sabai Corner Bungalows is fine for a short stay, if you don't mind the bugs and rodents. We moved to Villaguna after 2 days and were really impressed with the staff and cleanliness there.
My recommendation would be to rent a motorbike from the Tha Khao Pier area on arrival. It will cost only 200THB per day and will remove the need to pay for a taxi to the pier if you leave from there. Koh Yao Noi is a wonderful spot that hasn't been destroyed by tourism. The people are friendly and everyone is very relaxed. Crime rate is very low and we felt totally safe at all hours. This place is an absolute gem and we will definitely return in future. For boat hire, snorkelling tours, and transport to rock climbing walls in the north, talk to Poom at Tha Khao Pier. Her and her husband, Kong, are just lovely.

Nicely positioned bungalows
Sabai Corner has been operating for a long time.
After we arrived I was given the choice out of 3 family
bungalows. I went for bungalow no. 10 as it had a great
view , close to the water. Unfortunately I choose wrong as the
wiring was old and in bathroom/toilet area ( outside bungalow) actually
Inside the air was very stuffy and even after we
opened up all windows it stayed stifling hot inside
which made it hard to sleep. Uncomfortable mattresses
Bedlinen and towels clean and fresh.
No free drinking water
Bungalow difficult to lock.
We ate Thai food at the restaurant which was very
mediocre and we did not try again. Better options around.
As I choose the wrong bungalow I cant give Sabai corner
The thumbs down . Some of the other bungalows look
In far better condition.
Unless you like it extremely basic
With hardly any comforts (read mosquito net) stay away from no. 10
Rent a bike and ride around the island.
You will find a variety of dining spots and for
a quick snack theres always the beautiful bbqued chicken
Uou can buy from the stalls/market
