4 star? not a chance.

breakfast, car park, pools
The checkin staff are awful and need replacing, very rude I nearly walked out, breakfast buffet is excellent, rooms very tired and aircon is so old it is terrible, no temperature control just fan speed , far too cold at night. 4 star not a chance 2 star at best? limited tv channels are very old fashioned tv's they should be in a museum?

Location, price and 4 pools
I have stayed at this hotel multiple times over the last 10 years, and I already have 2 more stays there booked. Soi 2 is a lot quieter than it used to be but everything is still within a baht bus ride. The large pool is a great place to relax, and the other 3 pools are all easy to get to and nice to use. The rooms are starting to look a bit dated and could probably do with a bit of a overhaul but they are a decent size and they have everything you need. Above all,I love the shower and it's spaciousness. I hope they never change it. The food is of a decent enough standard with some of the Thai food being exceptional. The only major negative I have from this years trip (I was there for 16 days in October) was that the level of service from bar staff was a lot poorer than before. Some mornings it took 20 minutes to get any service. Overall I would say this hotel is terrific value for money with some great facilities and a nice quiet out of the way location, but still with great transport links to anywhere you want to go. Still my favourite place to stay in Pattaya

Affordable hotel, near the sea.

Pleasant though marred with the experience of having to call 3xs and waited for 40 min for hot water. Finally, I was given an electric kettle. Note: I'd asked earlier for an electric kettle but hotel staff claimed, they didn't have!!!
