The Sabai Resort is located on Second Pattaya Road, adjacent to the Central Festival Shopping Center with its huge selection of retail shops, restaurants, and Big C supermarket. The resort is also adjacent to Alcazar where extravagant transvestite cabaret shows take place nightly and should definitely be on your agenda while in Pattaya. Many restaurants, serving Thai and Western food, as well as numerous bars are just across the street from the resort. Pattaya Beach is only a five-minute walk away. Even though it is in the center of Pattaya, the Sabai Resort is pleasantly quiet as the guestrooms are strategically located away from the main road and separated by a beautiful swimming pool. Lots of Improvement Required

Rooms were large but in need of updating. Poolside furniture was filthy and we never witnessed any attempt to clean up during our stay. Ashtrays used previous day had to be emptied by me in order to use. The Resort has lovely grounds but there needs to be some leadership from management to improve things.

Going downhill

Pool , close to Bic C,checkout was quick
It was pretty good five years ago- does not look like any maintenance, upgrades, or modernization have been done in the intervening years. Even the T'S are circa 2004. The old girl is just plain worn out like 90% of Pattaya.

One of my favorite places in Pattaya

Friendly staff, excellent breakfast buffet, nice swimming pool
It is one of my favorite places when I need to stay overnight in the area, whether for business or for pleasure

Tired and noisy

Location , price and staff
The rooms are in serious need of updating ( work has started on the rooms nearest reception). The lighting in the rooms is almost cavelike in its illumination and the TVs are almost prehistoric !! . I booked a sunset villa and was woken daily by coaches revving their engines to work their air con before their journeys each morning from 5 am . There are shutters on the corridor to prevent road noise but they are warped ( sun and rain dual effect) so are little more than cosmetic . This hotel could be so much better with a little planning and review . You cannot do much about the ongoing building work nearby but the localised late night and early morning noises with a little thought and effort could be easily eradicated
