Walked in and checked rate for double room.cheaper through agoda.booked through agoda. Checked in - no doubles available ! But still on website as available.hotel blamed agoda as they had called them to advise no doubles left. (I doubt this- surely it's computerised.) Beds very soft - mattresses old. Breakfasts decididly average. On the up side, good location and large car park.

Sabai Resort
This hotel is not what it used to be. This was our third and last stay here. The staff and cleanliness are the worst I have experienced in Thailand. We stayed in Ruen Thai as we usually do. The swimming pool had green on the tiles, obviously hadn't been cleaned in a long time. On pervious stays they would clean the pool every night. In the two weeks we were there it wasn't cleaned once! We asked the staff at reception if they would have the mini bar emptied as we need the room for our child's milk. They initially refused and said the coke and other drinks would go bad if they were removed from the fridge!! My wife, who is Thai, had to argue with them for almost 30 mins before they agreed. This was our worst stay in Thailand or any where. There are plent other better hotels close by.

Price, Location and 2nd time
It was alright, room location was a burden, on the 2nd floor, at the end of the hallway.

Cheap Hotel in Good Location
Stayed at Pattaya for a week of golf and relaxation. Arrived a hotel and greeted by friendly staff. Room was smelly so got shifted to another. It was quite spacious but pretty old. Pool was close and refreshing at end of day's activities. Breakfast was plentiful and fairly average. Our intention was to get out and do things, hence out choice to stay here as it was relative inexpensive. If you are after a reasonable standard of accommodation, I suggest to look elsewhere (and pay more).
