What happens

The food options are terrible. We ate at the cold water creek. Part of the sage. It was awful!!!!! Saw other diners requesting refunds as well

Great location and fantastic staff

Great staff, good location, clean rooms
Was only there overnight but I was greeted by some very lovely staff who made me feel welcome. I noticed the attention they were giving to other customers and showing them how to get to their destination. The room was clean with a good view over the pool and a further out on to the coastline. The bar downstairs was relaxed but had a lot of people and overall my stay was pleasant.

No parking in hotel did not know area appalling

Not much at all close to town and beach
Our trip to the Chifley was a terrible experience, the NRL were playing the night of our stay and there was no parking at the hotel We had travelled for 3.5 hours and were then told to find a park in a town without available parking. I was not well and could not allow my wife to park in a city we are not accustom with. The room was a disable room that had a poor grade to the drain. The water from the shower ran in front of the sink and the room was always wet. We had two single beds and requested they be converted to double. They left the sheets in a pile on the ground beside the bed after converting it to double. Our car was hit by a taxi where we had to park, and were fortunate a Good Samaritan left the persons details on our wind screen. I very rarly complain but the night at the Chifley was very disapponting I paid 250.00 for a very substandard room with very poor service. If we had recieved an email regarding the NRL we would have been for warned of the parking I travel often with my work commitments and have stayed in many disabled rooms, this one however left our bathroom floor flooded. The Chifley experience was an absolute shocker!
