This is 1 star at best!

Shower was good
I will make this short as it was the worst holelive stayed at and im not that picky The pictures look nohting like the rooms at all...could even be a different hotel Right beside a railway line...and its loud Beds are awful and not even a mattress protector Beds are so small my legs hung over the edge and im only 5'10 Sheets are old and have holes Blood and stains on pillow cases Its more like a backpackers and certianly not 3 star I know im a traveller in foreign country but if you advertise cable TV you should have at least 1 English speaking channel Was a very bad hotel....I actually had to laugh at myself

Dirty room and Poor A/C room

location is not bad
not comfortable when stay here, room is not clean especially bathroom and toilet you can see yellow slough at toilet and shower, a lot of rusty at draining grille, dirty bin, A/C work like a fan when I ask staff to check he said this is normal so I ask to change the room , unfortunately only family room vacant that day it is very big room with 2 king beds 2 bathroom but only 1 A/C machine in the room I couldn't feel any cold from that machine. If I didn't pay with Agoda before check-in I will not stay here

Dont believe the photos

friendly staff
Dont believe the photos - the photos remind you of a calm place, the hotel is just over the street from the sea BUT - the street is so busy, its even hard to cross it over, then there is noisy train track next to the street and there is no beach, just rocks. We have chosen this hotel for our first three nights in colombo. Definitely not a good place for rest - these were most stresful days. Not because the hotel itself, but for its location. When you look at the map anf photos, you might get impression of a nIce place to take some rest. I think it couldnt be much farther from that. I would not visit the hotel and place again, it took the toll on us.

The most horrible experience we had at for the pas
Almost all hotels where already fully booked. We reached Sai Sea and called the hotel directly hopping to get a good price (as we planned to arrive at around 21:00 only). The receptionist was impatient. He explained very briefly on the type of rooms and when we asked for prices so we could book a room, he told us to look online and hung up the phone. As mentioned before we didn't have much choice - so we booked the budget room via Agoda. We didn't notice it was a fan room (as we never encountered a room that costs like that without an air con). When we arrived the receptionist who was the manager immediately told us that. We tried to reason with him with no success - as we looked at his evil green - he explained it happens a lot. He was very rude and just smiled to our obvious distress. We paid extra 987 LKR as the heat is unbearable at this season - directly to the rude manager. They didn't even suggest to help us with our huge bags. The room is small. The bed is horribly uncomfortable. The lobby looks like a guesthouse. The WiFi works only in the lobby (we didn't even bother to try). The manager just doesn't give a damn. The shower head is almost above the toilet (no separation of course) The pictures are far from reality. We wouldn't pay more than 15$ (just because of the air con & TV). We got "upgraded" to the business room. Look like a guest house room. We woke up in the morning to find out the room was infested with lots of small ants. All over the bed we where sleeping, all over the floor and our bags. We went down immediatly to make a complaint. The manager was not there, the receptionist laughed at us when we said the whole room is infested with ants. We demanded to talk to the manager - the receptionist told us to call him from our phone. After another protest he called - and amazingly enough didn't reach him. We tried the number ourself. He didn't answer. The story goes on - shamefull bahviour. Avoid at all cost !!!

My Experience

Room location, bed, cleanliness of the room
Limited my self only to stay in the room. Staff were excellent. They were friendly and supportive. Always with a smile. But the management did not look that friendly. Receptionists need to be more courteous and professional.

Not Good for money charged!

Except that the hotel staff was good nothing comes in best defination
We booked two nights accomdoation. Thinking it is 3star rating. According to us after staying there it is like a guest hour or lodge. We booked two rooms then we were given option of family room. Which had two beds. This Big room had only one small ac. Toilets were worst. No proper drainage system. Someone just converted house as hotel. People and staff were nice but i think hotel should not promote it self as 3 star rating. We had no option at last minute so stayed. Not value for money. View is good it is sea facing. There is train line between sea and hotel. Trains frequetly comes in day time.
