A promising place let down by the tiny room.
Sometimes a room is just TOO small. If you are staying in Tokyo for more than a couple of nights, I would recommend spending a little extra and getting a bit more space. We literally had to climb over each other to move around the double room. Not enough space for two people with any luggage at all. Over a week it became a real issue, and we did not look forward to going back there after a day of walking around the city, which was a real shame. The bed was not big enough for two of us to sleep in without disturbing each other, and we even took turns sleeping on the floor, as we got more sleep that way! (The helpful staff gave us extra blankets to sleep on the floor). The shared facilities were acceptable, but not great. Also, unfortunately the carpet smelled really bad, and needed to be shampooed. The walk to the nearest big station is about 15 mins, and a bit far with big luggage. I bet there are better options for a similar price...

Good location
I stayed 6 nights in the girl's dormitory at the basement. Enough privacy even for a bunk bed room (but I do suggest the light sleepers bring a pair of ear plugs). I lot of good cafes and restaurants around. Just 15-20 minutes walk to the palace.

Good value, location, and customer service
We had a small room with five beds, two bunks and a single. The room had an AC/Heater in which we needed the heater. Very strong. There were two mens toilets and two womens toilets in the hallways along with two showers. The showers had shampoo and body wash. There were two sets of two sinks with big mirrors. All in all, it worked great as we all had our own bed - with curtains and reading light - and the toilets were always available just outside the door. The included breakfast was weak but they have a lot of drinks and other food you can purchase from their small restaurant. Location was great, near subways and within walking distance to the Tokyo Dome and Imperial Palace, which is a must see.

Good enough
The hotel is good for those who decide to travel by metro. If you don't mind transfering the subway line. Otherwise, good and comfort hotel with acdequate facilities.
