Nice and Friendly Hotel
Good Room with Balcony. Everyday Welcome Drinks - ( Alcoholic or Non-Alcoholic ) Whole Day Coffee at Lounge ( Would be good to provide disposable cups for rooms usage - like The Gallery )

Cool hotel
It was a great hotel with some cool perks like free cocktails every night and free use of public bath for men or for women. The location is ok being beside the subway but other than that and a convenience store across the street, there's very little going on in this part of town.

Affordable yet comfortable stay near Kyoto Station
The hotel is approx. 10 minutes walk from Kyoto Station and right above Kujo subway station. If you are arriving from either Osaka or Nara, there are plenty of trains passing Kujo station, and as such, you will not have to walk far to reach this hotel. There are also a number of buses plying the roads near the hotel for your convenient. The room itself is adequate for the two of us (not the biggest you can find, but almost all hotel rooms in Japan are in similar size), with nice and modern touch on furniture and decorations. It comes with all amenities to make your stay a comfortable one. Free welcome drinks are provided for guests. Staff are friendly and helpful, they will try their best to help you with any queries. One of the receptionists took great effort to help us in planning our sightseeing route and transportation options. Luggage storage is available if required. Overall, it was a satisfying stay and I will recommend you to choose this place if you are heading to Kyoto.

Good Hotel Right Next to Subway
Nice, clean room. Subway entrance right next to front door, although not much interesting stuff in the surrounding block. Didn't have strong wifi signal in our room on the 4th floor.

Friendly staff which assisted us in reservations.
Staff in Sakura Terrace were all very courteous and helpful. One of the staff, Minamo graciously and patiently helped us make reservations for tickets that we were struggling with due to the language barrier, and became our friend. We enjoyed our stay here, and the nightly cocktails plus accessible location with many convenience stores nearby, coupled with great service from Minamo made it a great experience for us!

Conveniently located
The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to the Kyoto station (about a 10 min. walk). The room didn't include breakfast but free coffee and tea was available all day as well as one alcoholic drink per person in the evening. The room is of a regular size for Japan's standards and it was a nice room with a balcony (I got the one with the superior bed), though it didn't have a lot of places to put our things on so we ended up putting them on the floor. The bed was a little bit on the hard side (not a lot of padding), and so was the one we got in Tokyo with a different hotel chain so I'm not sure if this is normal in Japan.
