10th time Sala Thai
First time I was here were 2001. No new paint on the walls... no new floor but still a cheap gh with good atmosphere. Walking distance to silom and lumphini park a couple of blocks away. I really like Sala Thai and coming back.

Little Gem
Owners, Comfort, Quaint
Respectably clean room big enough for the bed and a couple pieces of furniture. The garden on the roof was a great place to stretch out and eat. The owners are super nice! Also, don't be afraid about how tucked away this place is. It's nice being off of the road in a serene little alley. The most visible sign on the street is for the Lee Mansion. Also, there's a number of good coffee and breakfast places just around the corner. I'll definitely be back.

Take a nap
price, location, staff
Although there were some mistakes, the owner gave me a very good impression in her manner. I had talk with two western olds and a Japanese family. Thay were satisfied with this hotel overall.

Not bad
Quite cheap, not bad location
in this area there are many small guesthouses, many restorans, not far from Rama 4 road. Room was basic but had desk and even mirror in the room

Excellent budget accomodation
friendly and helpful staff, roof top area, nice clean private bedroom.
I really liked it here. I based my scores around the price which was about 300 baht. You can get a much more luxurious hotel, but not for 300 baht a night. This hotel compares well to a hostel, you have some common areas with a TV (with international channels) and a rooftop area which has a great view of Bangkok at night. The other guests here are friendly and good fun, but not too crazy like in some hostels. You get a private room with a fan, a desk, and some clothes storage. There is space under the bed for your suitcase. The location is very good, close to lumpini park and silom. This quiet street has many very good restaurants and a few beer/wine bars, but it isn't crazy like nana or patpong. I don't think I would bring my family here, the street doesn't have a safe pavement to walk along. But if you want a cheap hostel type social experience, without your belongings being stolen, or someone drawing on your face while you sleep, or finding some stranger sleeping in your bed - then this is a great option for you. I will stay here again!

clean but paid internet
Everything was good in asia for this prise it was the one of the cleanest places i ever stayed. Location is quite okay metro station was about 20 mins walking distance where you can get the air train (i dont remember exactly how this train is called) and there are massage saloons all arround the hotel a pizzeria nearby hotel and also some eating places silet place what is difficult to find in bkk. only problem internet is paid for getting wifi u need to pay 50 baht(almost 2 $) per day.

clean, value, friendly
Rooms are very basic but still good value for price. Place is kept very clean and staff are friendly and accommodating. Location is good, just a little hard to find in a small alley. Would stay again.
