The "Battle of Salil"
I booked the hotel on the basis of a photo showing a queen bed and a single bed in the same room. I made a last minute booking so perhaps was not as careful as I should have been, because we were a party of three (which I announced when we arrived). The clerk was accusative and said that I lied when I said that there were only two people for the booking. I said that I didn't "lie", that I was in a hurry and found it time saving to just click a box rather than take time to explain, and that I would explain once I got to the hotel. She said that I had to pay for three and I told her that was ok, just as long as we got the room with the double and single bed. She said that they did not have that kind of room. I told her that I saw the photo on the Agoda website. She told me again that I was lying (not "mistaken", "lying") and to contact Agoda. So I pulled up the Agoda website and showed her the picture of the queen and single bed room. She said Agoda was to blame, plus it only looked like there were a queen and a single that in fact they were both single beds, which of course was moving from absurdity to down-right stupidity at this point. . Then I noticed the same photo on a rotating photos TV screen a few feet away, showing a room with a queen and a single bed. She then said that the photo was "promotional" and that I should have reads the fine print that said that there were two single beds. Plus Agoda should not show that photo. When I pointed out that the same photo was displayed two steps away, she said again that I should not have "lied" on the reservation. At this point, the conversation was getting heated because most people don't enjoy being called a liar, especially in front of other guests. But we were on a deadline, took the room and got a cot, paid the extra for the third person and then a gain extra for getting a cot. Ever heard of that double whammy before? I very much doubt it. In the end, all the remaining staff were cordial, especially the

Overall okay
Near to shops, near to sky train. Friendly staff. Pretty decent breakfast. The room looks a little run down but not uncomfortable. Only gripe was the thin walls with poor sound isolation. Otherwise, everything else seems quite ok.

Awesome Stay
Front desk never fails to acknowledge my presence upon entering and leaving the hotel. Less than 5 mins walk to Nana BTS. 7-11 is also nearby. Good for night activities. Street hawkers also available for cheap selection.

the rooms are okay but the decorations are very old; unlike the pictures at all. the rooms are noisy as there's a bar located right next to the hotel. moving on to the food, breakfast is HORRIBLE; there ain't much varieties; to be precise only 9. the breads and croissants are as hard as rock; as if there were left there for a week, the poached egg is sour, the soya bean drink has been left there re-boiling for several times. I stayed here for 4nights and we are being served the same breakfast everyday. i wouldn't recommend families to stay here at all as it seems to be like a motel than a hotel. i see so many couples asking for room rates as late as 3am in the morning. the walk to the BTS station is a long walk; about 15mins away. i will never return to this hotel.

Surprisingly nice.
Got the cheapest room on the first floor. Still was very quiet even though close to the main road and bts. Breakfast was good and the staff were super nice. Little bar below the hotel was a nice quiet place for people watching and good prices drinks. Would stay again.
