Fantastic view

Decor is beautiful, as is service, food and view from room
this was one of the best, if not the best hotel of our trip. rooms are unique, lobby is lovely and the restaurant food and service was very nice indeed. reception staff could not have been more helpful. a bit of ipswich's nightlife is on the barbour, but you don't hear it inside the hotel. the bed very comfy. the onlly negative was the small shower; they offered an upgrade upon arrival for a reduced 50 pounds - if had longer stay would have taken it as bathroom is better and your room opens up to a balcony overlooking habour. loved this one!
Travel tip: This offers the best view in ipswich, but the city is interesting in regard to history if u take the time to investigate.

Lovely hotel, helpful staff

Quirky decor was a favourite with a beautiful restaurant and lobby.
Staff were friendly and helpful when checking in, getting a drink at the bar and having breakfast. The room was clean and spacious, however, I was under the impression I would be receiving 'luxury toiletries' and although there was body lotion, wash and a sewing kit, there was not any toothpaste and I had to go downstairs to reception and pay £3 for a tiny amount. After getting back from dinner outside of the hotel some of the TV channels were not working which we had been watching before. Overall I was happy with my stay and looking over the waterfront is also a great touch. And although the rest of the hotel was interesting with lots of paintings and artwork, I felt the room we were in was a bit bland so I would have been happy to pay the extra for a loft.

A wonderful find, great location. Great rooms!

Quirky modern & great food
arrived at hotel to a friendly helpful parking attendant. cap parking on site is minimal but they have it all sorted by moving cars to off site as required. the maritime festival was on so everywhere was really busy. all staff at the hotel were friendly helpful and nothing was too much trouble. breakfasts really good too
