We Expected Better

The comfort of the room, the quiet location (away from the centre and hustle & bustle of the centre... although being *so* far away from the centre had its drawbacks), the outside bar area.
Overall, it was 'OK'. The 'food' (dinner and breakfast) let it down considerably. We ate in the hotel on our first evening and we found the choice of food very poor and the service even worse. Breakfast - for a supposedly 4 star hotel - was a disappointment with a seeming reluctance to provide even fresh scrambled egg. The location had a 'plus' and a 'minus' as it was out of the centre (and therefore nice and quiet), but the bus journey in to the centre took longer than we would have liked. In the evenings, this meant you were restricted as to places to eat if you didn't want to eat in the hotel. The room was very comfortable and quiet, although very short on places to put clothes and other items. It would also have benefitted, in our opinion, from having tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Wi-fi (free) seemed to be OK.

Easy to approach the leaning tower just by car

BF is good, easy to parking, room is clean
BF is good, easy to parking, room is clean. But if you don't be there by your car, it's not a good choice. It's easy to approach the leaning tower just by car.

Very interesting design!

Design, outside garden area and breakfast
This hotel has a very modern design and is great for families visiting Pisa. There is a large garden area where children can play and a friendly atmosphere. The breakfast was also excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only problem was the location - it is several miles outside the city centre. If you are driving it is a good choice, but I'm not sure how convenient it would be otherwise.
