Boutique cottages

new rooms, great location,
The newer rooms are surprisingly beautiful and comfortable. The staff could be a lot friendlier and the food is average. Amazing beach and good local food nearby.

Sand Sea

Location is terrific with direct access to the beach
The hotel was very tired and needed a lot of maintenance. Staff in general seemed quite disinterested in guests. Being a musulum hotel there was no wine list at dinner. There are some new units which looked quite good but ours was very old and tired for the price. To be fair though, the entire peninsula is very tired and run-down which is in a strange way, part of the character of the place. For the condition of the hotel and poor service, I thought it was overpriced.

"Land of no Smiles"

1) Beach, 2) Facilities, 3 Food
1) No greeting or smile from the Asst Front Office Manager (Guy) not helpful when we inquiry for the transportation arrangement. 2) Be flexible by implementing the spa for room charge service. Its caused us inconvenient for those tourist/traveler to bring the cash to the beach and so on. 3) To ensure the pool attendant or supplier to have standardize to put on chlorine and I foresee it was over chlorine 4) Room 1314 toilet was not able to flush and been asking for the maintenance to fix but waited till evening. 5) F&B staff not really paying attention to guest need. 6) During check out again assisted by Asst Front office Manager (guy) without checking the history I was asked if I wish to settle both. After clarify I told him one of the room I had paid thru Credit card. After checking the room was fine, then i was show to pay for the bill transportation and he insisted me to pay. Again I replied back I had pay all thru credit card. Not a word sorry for his mistake and word of thank you from him. Overall he acted very rude and bad attitude to me.

"Land of no Smiles"

1) Beach, 2) Facilities, 3 Food
The location and facilities of the hotel was great! Love the beach front and the newly renovated rooms. However, the layout of the room could be better. There were insufficient power point plugs for us to charge our mobile phones and the location of the power socket was not strategically placed. would be better if it was somewhere more spacious to allow our international adaptors to work properly because it is bulky. On the 1st and 2nd night, our room toilet couldn't flush and was leaking. One of the lights in the toilet was mulfunctioning also. My friend's room leaked with water streaming into the room after a heavy rain. The water sipped through the glass door even when the door was shut tight. We had to call housekeeping/maintenance twice before it got fixed proper. Food at the hotel restaurant was relatively cheap and tasty but staff were not attentive to customer request. Took us some time before we could catch their attention. They were just standing around, day-dreaming not aware of what's happening around them. Same with the staff at the spa and the person at the egg counter making eggs. They seemed unhappy and showed us their sour faces. NO signage to indicate the the female public toilet was under maintainence and the swimming pool had too much chlorine in it. Make sure to print out and bring along your transfer confirmation letter with you. The front office assistant manager claimed that we have not paid or made any land transfer when we already have. Good thing my friend brought along the email confirmation and showed him. On the day of check-out, the same thing happened, again he claimed we didn't pay. He was very rude and kept brushing our queries aside. But he was all smiley and cheerful the other foreigners. Never will me and my friends go to sun sea beach resort again and we will not recommend anyone to go. Although the facilities and beach is nice, we'd rather fork out more to have a wholesome and pleasant holiday. rate it.. hmm.. 2/5

Five Days in Paradise

Location, Value, Comfort
Very nice and relaxing. Staff was very friendly and responsive to all our needs. Would be nicer if alcohol was served and if able to have refreshments at the pool. Had to go to adjoining resorts to get a "drink", but only two minutes away!

Favorite place on Railay Beach

piol and lounge chairs are beachfront. Also large pool in back. Peaceful. Food is good but be sure to have a pizza at Railay Bay next door (if need Thai food break). Peaceful place.
Stayed in older bungalows this time and older kids loved being by back large pool. Bungalows decent although took awhile to find balance for warm shower. Have stayed in newer connecting rooms in past and no shower issue. Easy walk to Phranang Cave Beach.

Quiet loction

Quiet, Comfortable, Clean
There is only one main problem: You have to take a boat to leave the place and you have to pay for it. It would be nice if the hotel staff would provide a free or cheap boat shuttle.
