Perfect hotel for a special occasion
Reception staff were charming and friendly. The lobby was very welcoming and fun. Every aspect of the hotel had a contemporary touch which made it special yet still welcoming and relaxing.Well done!
We stayed for our 25th Wedding Anniversary break and were welcomed in style with a free upgrade which included a huge and spacious room, rose petals and a free bottle of Champagne with a hand written congratulations note, a very nice touch. The long bar and purple room were fun for cocktails. We had a Spa treatment which was fantastically delivered and very relaxing. Family joined us for Mad Hatters Tea the next day and again this was a very high standard with incredible attention to detail down to marshmallow magic mushrooms and meringue carrots which had to be plucked from the grass. Such fun!! Staff all very friendly and helpful.

Great service and a lovely room
The staff were very friendly and professional. Our room was very spacious and well equipped. The bar is buzzy and stays open which is good to have a final drink after dining elsewhere.
The front desk staff were great. We were a party of 4 and had two rooms. When they found out we had a special birthday, they upgraded the room from a deluxe to a loft room, which was lovely. Staff were extremely attentive, they ensured we got to a lunch booking we had in Soho, when we were running late. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were very good. Stylish and spacious. I have stayed in other supposedly better and pricier hotels in Central London and the rooms have been far snaller and sometimes a little scruffy. The bar was lovely for a night cap after we had been out for dinner. We stayed up until about 2, many other hotel bars only stay open until 1 even for residents! To conclude a very good stay, I will recommend it to my friends.

Very pleasant stay
Location, modern &fun
Had a lovely time after initial hiccup of no room available due to overbooking. Put me in their sister hotel but I preferred the Sanderson. Upgraded to a suite which made up for the inconvenience.

The name and the bars
The rooms were very disappointing in our opinion. The hotel might be funky, but the rooms are very small and I am sad to say over-priced.
Perhaps the Sanderson is a very hip hotel and has many visitors who love it, and in this case perhaps it is just not our taste. However, we travel a lot and stay in many hotels Worldwide and I can safely say that would not stay at the Sanderson Hotel again! The bars are cool, but the rooms are small and the beds fairly uncomfortable for a 5 star hotel.
