Lovely romantic hotel

The pool and location
Lovely hotel, although the deluxe room was a bit average for the price. The cottages looked much nicer and I would probably stay there if I did go bad again. The wifi didn't work at all while I was there which was a bit annoying. But overall a lovely hotel.

Sandoway 3 night break

Beachfront, spacious & comfortable, breakfast pastries
This is a perfect resort for people who want to get away from it all, with no tv and intermittent wifi you can really relax and enjoy the beach. Some terrific seafood options nearby. We really loved the Silver Star with great service and delicious steamed crabs! Yumm!

Paradise surrounded by amazing people

The spacious cottage with the mix of Myanmar natural wood and Italian taste for design surrounded by super nice staff. Paradise on earth.

The food was tremendous!

Food, serene location, Value relative to other global beach resorts
Starts with pick up at hotel by friendly staff(It seems all the people we encountered in Myanmar were very friendly) at the airport in a cool vintage Hino bus. Short 15 minute ride to resort and we were in a sea villa. Nice room with nice amenities. Service/amenities are not akin to the Four Seasons in Langkawi but perhaps that is an unfair comparison especially considering the enormous price differential. Food is not cheap for Myanmar but rankly was excellent. Breakfast included and was great value and choices very good. Lunch salads and pastas were excellent. Dinner also very good. And desserts professionally prepared and homemade baked goods were excellent. Myanmar beach resorts like this shoudl be considered for getaways a lot more as from value perspective I think this can not be beaten by anything in SE Asia.

Lovely rooms, great service, beautiful setting

Lovely rooms, great service, beautiful setting
Sandoway is an excellent hotel. The service is great, the rooms are beautiful - the cottages are a bit more intimate than the villas with the bed upstairs. I can't recommend it too highly. My only complaint would be that the spa is rather expensive and the quality not really on a par with the cost.

Excellent hotel, beautiful setting

Great pool, restaurant and rooms
Sandoway is an great hotel. The rooms are beautiful - the villas have the bed downstairs and a luxurious stone bathroom. The service and restaurant are excellent; the pool is great and the hotel cinema is good too.

Nice stay

The rooms were amazing as was the resort. The spa and restaurant were hugely over priced though.

Excellent beach resort

Amazing room, great beach and peaceful place perfect to relax
On the upside, the room and the facilities in general are of great taste and conditions. A perfect beach resort for enjoying Ngapali Beach during the day and at night with a drink. It is at only a 10 mins walk from the restaurants found also on the beach where one can taste the famous seafood. The staff is very kind and professional. On the downside, we found the charging of all non complementary services quite high (spa, food, trips).
