November travel date

many rooms, view, access to white sand beach
November is an off peak season that's why we were accomodated well by the staff. Overall, the hotel has a nice pool, though small. Easy access to Sutukil and Santiago beach, which is beside the resort. Friendly people. Food inside the resort is also good, gives value for money

Bug infested swamp.

The nearby beach and friendly gardeners:)
Crappy service. Had to upgrade to house after booking deluxe. Overpriced and too much jungle. Be careful walking beach at evening because of sea snakes on beach.

the hotel is 'so so'

Pool, location, view
This hotel is 'so so'. Location is great, however the rooms are overpriced. Old rooms, we had no water ( but we got another room so thats good) and staff needs more training ( esp F&B department). Food and drinks at the bay itself are cheaper and a lot tastier

The Best View of The Entire White Sand in Santiago

View, Pool, Food
My partner and I enjoyed our stay in Santiago Bay Garden and Resort. It is his first time in Camotes Island and my second time. We definitely loved the view from our room (Deluxe Room) and friendly staff too.

Hotel has a nice view of Santiago Bay, they are also not strict with bringing your own food and drinks inside the resort. Location was convenient enough.
When we arrived at Camotes, we did went to see some tourist destinations before going to the hotel. Upon arrival at the hotel around 3PM, I was disappointed to find out that the rooms were not yet ready. We had to wait at least an hour before we were able to get in the room. Once we got in the room, the pillow cases were wet and had the strong scent of Lysol or whatever it was they were using to disinfect them. I had to request for new pillows. The shower head was clogged so the heater did not work since there was not enough current to activate it. Despite all these, I find the location of the hotel convenient and its probably the best you can get in the area. Perhaps it was just bad luck that we had to go through all that. I would probably go back but I'd look for better options before settling for this resort in the future.

Nice resort

The staff, the location,
Pleasant stay for 3 days and that's enough, because nothing to do in the evening. No entertainment, no live bands or something else.

Very close to beach. Nice pool. good ac
WiFi not working during stay. Many bugs in the room and ants in one of the beds. Basic room and cleanliness could be improved but good base for exploring
